Everyone is saying the same thing about Kellie Harrington's Late Late Show appearance as she confirms she is staying amateur

Ryan Tubridy and Kellie Harrington did a James Corden style carpool karaoke interview during the first episode of this season's Late Late Show on Friday.

Kellie wasn't available to do the sit down interview alongside the rest of Ireland's Olympic medallists, as she was attending her friend's wedding.

So instead, the boxing champion was taxied around by Tubridy in a pre-recorded interview.

The pair sang Hakuna Matata before the Late Late Show host popped the all important question and asked Harrington if she plans on going pro.

Kellie said: "I've made the decision and I'm going to stay amateur, because you Know what Ryan, it's not always about money."

Tubridy pointed to the financial opportunity that she may miss out on.

The Olympic champion replied: "That's what people are saying, you could make a fortune out of this, you could go for this fight, go for that fight.

"But I just wanna be amateur. I'm supported by Sport Ireland I've a great team there with the setup.

"Less stress, more success."

Everyone on Twitter seemed delighted with Harrington's Late Late Show appearance.

Others said that they hope to see Harrington compete in Paris 2024.

Others called Harrington a "legend".
