We're getting right on board with the latest TikTok trend - baked oats.
Remember for a brief period, everyone was going nuts about overnight oats?
Well this is the new version of that, with quick and easy recipes flooding the social media app.
Food trends are no stranger to TikTok with bubble tea, fluffy coffee, pancake cereal and crushed ice sundaes only a few that have gone viral in recent months.
While we haven't been a massive fan of those, the baked oats seem easy enough for even us to not give it a go.
Start with a simple base: oats, baking powder, and some kind of liquid, like oat milk.
Most recipes we've found also include vanilla extract and salt.
Then it's time to mix in the fun stuff: flavorings and toppings.
Pretty much anything you can put into a smoothie can go in.
Chocolate? Yep
Bananas? Yep
Protein powder? You betcha!
Throw whatever you want in and then bang it in the oven.
Raspberry, Nutella and White chocolate baked oats.
Or how about some lemon drizzle baked oats?
Or some cookie dough baked oats?

Not everyone has the time or resources for an elaborate meal from scratch, especially in lockdown.
Which makes baked oats such an attractive trend - it's grab and go.
You're not slaving over a stove for a half hour, you're just whipping stuff into a bowl, popping it into the oven and hey presto, there's your treat.
Plus, there's all kinds of variations you can come up with to keep your taste buds interested.
