With pubs and restaurants finally reopening their doors after three long months of lockdown, Leo Varadkar decided today would be brilliant time to have a long awaited dinner date with partner Matthew Barrett.
The Tanaiste posted a rather sweet picture of the two of them enjoying a meal at Las Tapas De Lola on Wexford Street.
But the limelight was stolen by a rather delighted looking fella out enjoying a pint who took the opportunity to photobomb what was supposed to be a cute date night picture.
One amused Dublin Live reader told us: "I want a statue of that man. He will be remembered for generations."
Twitter users have been entertained by the picture with one person saying: "Look at the fella outside the window, he’s only delighted."
Another person said: "Loving the photobomber...they'll be more infamous than you two tonight."
