Everybody talking about Kenny Cunningham's hoodie after Ireland's bore draw with Georgia

After Ireland's dire Euro 2020 qualifier goalless draw with Georgia the main talking point to emerge may be the choice of clothing from RTE analyst Kenny Cunningham.

The former Ireland defender was stood alongside Ronnie Whelan in the stands in Tbilisi for his post-match thoughts after Ireland remained unbeaten in Group D.

But social media users were baffled that Cunningham had a black hood up over his head, despite no sign of rain, while Whelan wore a shirt and blazer jacket.

It prompted comparisons with, among others, rapper Eminen and the Madchester bands of the 1990s, while some theorised that he may have thought he was still on radio and not live television:

On the pitch, John Egan went closest for Ireland with an early header from a corner that struck the post, while late substitute Aaron Connolly had two good chances to snatch three points at the end.
