Everybody rightfully hated the refs in Rockets-Warriors Game 1

The Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors renewed their heated postseason rivalry Sunday in Oakland and while the Warriors won the game, 104-100, there was one clear loser:

The refs. Because man did they have a stinker of a day.

Reffing the Rockets isn’t easy. James Harden is the king of going out of his way to draw fouls and get to the line.

But the instances that really angered fans in Sunday’s game came mostly with three-point attempts in which it sure looked like Golden State players jumped into the shooter’s landing spot and that fouls should have been called.

It even happened in the final seconds when Harden attempted this 3-pointer that would have tied the game if it went in:

Chris Paul got T’d up after this one, which should have been a foul on HIM for flopping so badly, but whatever:

Paul was later thrown out of the game after getting his second technical with 4.4 seconds left in the game.

Harden sure looked like he got fouled on these three shots but nothing was called:

But there were also some questionable calls against the Warriors.

Dallas Mavs owner Mark Cuban was watching and weighed in on it all, saying it’s a NBA problem:
