Everybody loves Alisson Becker but Divock Origi causing concern at Liverpool

It wasn't pretty. But Liverpool got the job done against Aston Villa on Sunday.

Goals from Sadio Mane and substitute Curtis Jones were enough to earn a 2-0 triumph at Anfield and put the Reds a record 23 points clear at the summit.

Yours truly was on ECHO ratings duty and Alisson Becker caught the eye, earning a top score of 9.

Joe Gomez was the best of the rest with 8, although few players were worthy of 7 in a somewhat fitful Reds display.

At the other end of the scale, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Divock Origi struggled to 5.

Fans voting on our website were in agreement with the man of the match and the two least impressive performers.

However, Mane's goal helped him record an average of higher than 7.
