How does it feel to be up here on the biggest stage of all in the Champions League?
It's a good feeling. It's one of the main reasons why I came to the club, to play Champions League football. Tomorrow is another occasion for me to hopefully play and show what I can do.
What's it like to be playing at this level after last season was so frustrating?
You can see how things have changed really. I've come to a bigger club, bigger expectations, it's just another way of me trying to play at the highest level and you can see last season wasn't too good for me. Of course we went down to the Championship. I just felt it was time for me to go to another level and I'm here now and I'm enjoying it.
So what exactly is different feeling this year to last?
Like I said, it's just playing for a bigger club. Trying to achieve things in my career that I have always wanted to, playing in the bigger games, playing in the Premier League.
What do you feel is your best position? Did you enjoy being compared to Ashley Cole?
To even be spoken about in the same breath as Ashley Cole is a great feeling, he was such a great player. But for me I am not too sure at the moment. I just play anywhere that I am asked to play down the left hand side. I try and adapt to both of the positions, try to get as much information and knowledge in both and try my best.
What do the young players need to do to earn the trust of Jose Mourinho?
He wants the young players to work hard, show that you want to be in the team, show some fight, show some balls and some personality. That's what I think.
