Every word Ryan Sessegnon just said on his Tottenham transfer, the new stadium & his dream debut

On his move to the club...

"I'm delighted to come to Spurs, it's the right time for me to come here, a young, eager team, exciting team for me to join and this team is not far off winning big things in the future."

On why he decided on a move to Tottenham...

"The intensity of the way Tottenham play, the energy you can see on the field, the style of play is fantastic. New stadium, Champions League football, for a young player it's all exciting to see that and you'd be silly not to join a club like this. As a young player you see all of that you want to be part of that to improve, so there's no better club for me to join."

On making 120 appearances during his career so far...

"When you're young you play games and each game is an experience, so to play 120 games now I'm 19, having started at 16 I think it was beneficial for me to go through that. I just want to improve and that will come by playing with top players like we have here, a top manager and minutes under my belt."

On playing at the new stadium...

"I've seen pictures of it, haven't been there yet, but I'm excited to go and see it. I saw the first game against Palace and the atmosphere was crazy, I just want to be part of that, it's fantastic."

On playing in the Champions League...

"As a young player you always watch the Champions League, a big trophy to go and win, I've always loved watching Champions League over the years, Tottenham did fantastically well in the competition last year, I remember watching the game against City, especially the away leg at the Etihad, that was a crazy game of football, but it was fantastic to see and can only excite a young player like me."

On knowing Harry Winks and Kyle Walker-Peters...

"For anyone to move to a new club is always going to be difficult, but for me to come here and know a few of the lads is not too bad, it's going to be a smooth transition, I'm excited to meet everyone and get started."

On his hopes for the season coming up...

"First and foremost is to learn, work hard, learn from the other guys in the team, learn what it is to play for Tottenham, the honour of the club and from there try to work hard and earn my spot and hopefully get some minutes under my belt."

On picturing his first game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and putting in a cross for Harry Kane to score...

"Just the way I dreamt it!"
