Roy Keane has accused Tottenham of having a "softness" that he believes has held them back in recent years.
The former Manchester United captain has delivered his verdict on Tottenham ahead of the Premier League fixture with the Red Devils at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this afternoon, with Spurs battling to try and finish in the top four this season.
Spurs go into the game five points behind fourth-placed Chelsea after the Blues' 4-1 win against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park yesterday, with Keane debating with former Tottenham midfielder Jamie Redknapp about the north London club under Jose Mourinho.
And Keane has said he feels Spurs have not changed under Mourinho, with the Manchester United hero suggesting that Tottenham have been "soft" for too long.

Roy Keane : “Before he [Mourinho] came in and took the job, Spurs had gone a year without winning away from home.
“So there is a softness in this Spurs team."
Jamie Redknapp: “But they got to the Champions League final the year before, Roy?
RK : “They were lucky to get to that final. But again, getting to the final, it is like being top of the league in November. They got beaten in the final.
“What are we sat here talking about Mourinho for? If you get to a final, you want to win the thing.
“And when Mourinho leaves, they will still be soft, this Spurs team, and that is down to these players.
JR: “So you are saying Spurs have been soft for the last, how many years?
RK : “They have been soft for the last 40 years, Spurs.”
JR: “So when they got to the quarter-final of the Champions League with [Gareth] Bale and [Luka] Modric, that was a good team. You can’t say they are always soft.”
RK: “If a quarter-final is success, then you can have your success.”
JR: “You can say that about Tottenham, but they have had some great teams in the last few years, under Mauricio Pochettino. They are not as good as United or as City, but they haven’t spent the money those teams have.”
RK: “But there has been a softness to them Jamie. There has always been a softness to Spurs.”
