Jamie Carragher and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink have both been in disagreement over whether Sadio Mane should have been sent off against Chelsea.
The Liverpool forward was shown a yellow card just 10 seconds into his side’s 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.
Mane clattered into Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta with his arm raised just seconds after kick-off.
Chelsea’s players and boss Thomas Tuchel appealed for a red card, but referee Anthony Taylor opted to show a yellow card instead.

But speaking after the game, Hasselbaink, and Graeme Souness, both believed Mane should have been sent off.
However, Carragher believes referee Taylor made the right call in only booking the Senegal international, leading to Hasselbaink asking the Reds great if he was “serious”.

Carragher: “I think that is one of those ones that comes into the orange category. I think after six seconds that’s not going to be - I think if the point of his elbow gets him rather than almost his forearm I think he’s going off.
“I think the fact that it’s forearm, closer to his wrist rather than his elbow, possibly saves him, and the fact it’s six seconds. But it’s one of those that is worse than a yellow but I don’t think it’s quite a red.”
Hasselbaink: " Are you serious? Have you got your red hat on or the football hat on? That was a red card. Forget about six seconds, forget about that. It’s endangering the player. He goes with his elbow, it’s endangering the player.
"They’re going to give it a word whatever they want because they have to justify what they’re giving. It doesn’t matter where he catches him, he’s going for him, he’s going for him.
"It doesn’t matter where he catches him with the elbow or here [pointing at his upper forearm]. He does that, whack."
Souness: " It’s a sending off. I think he leads with the elbow, it’s dangerous, it’s violent for me. Look where the ball is when he hits him. The ball is nowhere near when he hits him.
"Watch where the ball is when he makes contact, whack. Where’s the ball? That’s a sending off, end of. "
