Could you give us an insight to why Mesut Ozil wasn't in the squad?
"It was a tactical reason."
Not to be involved in the entire squad was a surprise. Can you explain the tactical reasons then?
"Because I need players in other positions as well and that's the reason I decided to leave him out."
What have you said to David Luiz and what is happening with his contract?
"I don't know what will happen with his contract. I know what happened today, I know the way David reacted, as a player and as a person as well he can handle the situation. There was a reason why I didn't select him from the start and he had to play because Pablo got injured. He's always going to try to give you his best for the condition that he's at and he's tried again. It didn't work out for him or the team but that's it."
How are Pablo Mari and Granit Xhaka?
"They are getting assessed at the moment and we will probably know something more tomorrow morning but Pablo's one, it didn't look really good."
How difficult was the atmosphere and what did you think of taking the knee before kick off?
"It's completely different to what we are used to but we have to adapt for a game which is what we love to do.
"Hopefully [we are] helping people with that [taking a knee]. In today's game they have a lot of conditions, one of them what we did just before the game but I think it's a very strong message, I think it's creating a very unique message around the world and we are trying to achieve that behaviours are going to change hopefully with all the things that are happening and if we can contribute to that, great."
