Very happy with how we have finished. It is not easy to win three games in a row, especially as we did it against Tottenham, finished our season at home scoring three goals and now playing away to win scoring four is always difficult.
I am happy for the club, the fans and I think we have now finished a good season.
Had a lot of players come back from injury towards the end of the season which has made a huge difference
Yes of course. It is very difficult when you have so many important players out for so long with injuries like Yarmolenko, Sanchez, Lanzini, Wilshere. After that, to recover their performances they need to play a lot of games.
Next season, I think these injuries will not affect us as much.

You've finished tenth, does that mean a good season for you? Did you expect more or less?
I never start the season expecting to finish in a certain position in the table, I think it is better to finish as high as you can. Maybe for the first season after such a traumatic one last time, fighting for relegation and with problems, this was a quiet season.
The fans were happy and we improved our total points and goals we scored so I am happy with the first season.
Considering a lot of things that happened this season, tenth is not the worst place to finish.

Have you noticed there is a bit more of a buzz around West Ham this season?
I think we are improving.
We grow one step in every sense, the names we have in our squad, the way we play, our points but it is not just about two or three players, you need to have a squad.
So I think we must try to continue improving, bring in those names.
What was your view on the red card for Holebas?
He was the last man, he was facing the goalkeeper, I really need to see it again to give my opinion.
Your team were ruthless after Watford were down to ten men
Yes.
Maybe not only when they finished with ten men though. When we conceded to go 2-1, we were very tight and nervous. I didn't think we played well those minutes but after that, Jack Wilshere played very well. I think he was the difference.
What did you think of Marko's goal?
Marok has had not a bad season but as all of us, I am sure he will continue to improve next season and fill the potential I think he can have.
Can you assure the fans Declan Rice will be at the club next season?
*Shrugs* It is impossible to say. I cannot know the future. He is a player that has had a brilliant season, is 20 years old, English under 20 so he has a lot of quality, age, nationality. All of the big teams will want him. That is one thing and this other if he will stay or if he will go I cannot say in this moment.
