What are your thoughts on the performance at the start of a big month?
Disappointing and I thought we had opportunities long before they scored the goal to be in front but we lacked quality in the final third. I thought our build up play and our play in the main was okay. We had chances to be in front and then went behind to a worldie of a goal. I did not see that coming and it put us on the back foot a little bit.
The game did not change when you brought on Said Benrahma and Nikola Vlasic
No there was no change, we tried and at one each it looked like there was only going to be one team winning it. But we made a terrible mistake defensively which gave them a chance to get back in front. I agree though we are lacking in quality in the final third of the field.
Any issues with the penalty decision or the challenge on Tomas Soucek and how is he?
I have not seen either of them back. My first thought was I did not think it was a penalty and I have not seen anyone say anything different at the moment. But my first feeling is it was not but until I look at it I cannot tell you what I really think.
Antonio got a goal. Is that the positive from tonight?
Yes we are pleased for him that he got a goal but we have other players who need to find some quality and start to make the right decision in the final third, completing passes and making the right choices in the final third. I do not know how many times we made the wrong choice in and around the box and it cost us tonight.

Yes, all the time.
Any update on Tomas Soucek's cut?
They tell me it is a nasty wound and he has had some stitches but not had a chance to speak to the medical team yet.
You showed you could create chances but just could not finish them. How can you address it?
We will keep doing what we are doing and do the best we can, we build up well and got good opportunities but our finishing and final pass was so poor, so poor.
Aaron Cresswell and Mark Noble were not in the squad how are they?
They have injuries and it was a blow to miss them tonight. I thought Issa Diop played as well as anybody tonight, playing slightly out of position and I thought he did a really good job.
Is Cresswell in contention for Liverpool?
He will be in contention.
