'Every trick' - Nottingham Forest fans want Cardiff City to suffer over Albert Adomah

Nottingham Forest fans are urging the club to bring Albert Adomah back from his loan at Cardiff City for two reasons.

The winger's time in Wales is set to end next Tuesday unless an agreement is reached to extend his stay until the end of the season, which had to be extended until August because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Cardiff are keen for that to happen, but manager Neil Harris says they have so far been unable to reach terms with Forest, as he criticised the EFL.

One reason for the impasse may be because both sides are battling for a play-off place.

Forest are currently fifth in the Championship with Cardiff moving into sixth after they beat Preston on Saturday.

Some fans think the Reds should bring Adomah back, in part to boost Sabri Lamouchi's options, but also to hurt Cardiff's chances.

Here's a selection of what fans have been saying on our Facebook page.

John Haddow: Definitely bring him back don’t let Cardiff benefit, Let Neil Harris moan as much as he wants when his loan ends on Tuesday end of.

Robin Palmer: Yes bring him back, use every trick in the book to gain an advantage over the run in and if it hurts Cardiff even the better

Tam James McKay: Bring him back helps us gives us an extra option

Mark Wolden: Should never of been sent our on loan - Bring Uncle Albert back home

Mark White: Bring him home don't help a play off rival out.

Phillipo Allano Brownlowlio: Cracking player but let him decide

Kev Ward: Take him back, gives us an option. Also hopefully reduces the chances of us having to face Cardiff in the play-offs

Ady Turner: Defo he’s a character n that’s what we need
