Counter-Strike 2‘s newest Armory drop has landed, and alongside the gold-dominant Arabesque Collection, the Spy Tech Collection brings 17 skins built around the spy-movie aesthetic. Hidden Gadgets, Transparent tech, and covert ops gear are the key themes of this collection, offering a number of unique designs.

How to get Spy Tech collection skins in CS2
Spy Tech skins aren’t available through a traditional case. Instead, they drop through the Armory with each drop costing 4 Stars and rewarding you with a random skin from the collection. Stars are earned by leveling up your account with an active Armory Pass. If you want to maximize your Stars earning, you can have up to five Armory Passes active at once.
Since stars are randomized, chasing a specific finish can take a while, especially for the two Covert (Red) skins. If you already know exactly which skin you want, buying it directly on the Steam Community Market or a trusted third-party marketplace is usually faster and cheaper than grinding for a lucky drop once the prices settle.
The Spy Tech Collection CS2: 17 espionage-themed skins
Like the Operation collections of the past, the Armory rotation gives Valve to truly design a full 17-skin set around a single theme. And for Season 5 one of the themes is espionage. Clearly taking inspiration from franchises like James Bond, Mission Impossible, among others, these skins feature a number of spy tools disguised as ordinary gear, while other skins choose high-tech design motifs instead.
The MAC-10 doubles as a video camera, while the Glock takes inspiration from technology brand NOTHING in its transparency-focused design. All in all, the Spy Tech collection offers a much more cohesive identity than most collections.

Standout picks from the Spy Tech collection
The covert tier skins are obvious standouts, with the Ghost Protocol Glock in particular offering a clean-yet-bright skin option for crafts. The AK-47 on the other hand invokes some Printstream styling thanks to its pearlescent metallic paint.
The AWP Black Box also seems like a solid pick, potential matching the AK-47 | Slate’s dominance in the sticker-craft space thanks to a large clean black canvas. On its own the MAC-10 Video Cam features a pretty cool design with RCA inputs on the side of the skin, but SMGs traditionally get the craziest designs, making it harder to stand out against the crowd.
Best Gloves to pair with Spy Tech collection skins in CS2
Since black dominates most of the collection’s color palette, darker glove skins tend to match best. Budget-friendly options like Driver Gloves | Black Tie or Moto Gloves | Smoke Out pair cleanly, while Sport Gloves | Nocts is a strong premium pick if you want something that matches the collection’s stealthy tone without breaking the bank.
With two Covert skins instead of the usual one, the Spy Tech Collection is shaping up to be one of the more loaded Armory drops in recent memory. Whether you’re chasing a Covert for your main loadout, eyeing the AWP Black Box for a rare Restricted-tier sniper skin, or just want a cheap Industrial Grade finish, there’s something here across every budget.
