After the government gave the green light for non-essential shops to reopen last month, today shoppers in England will be able to enter certain retailers for the first time since March.
In order to reopen, shops have had to put in place numerous health and safety precautions, including perspex till screens, hand sanitizer points and social distancing markers throughout many stores.
The reopening of non-essential retailers also means that shopping centres are once again able to operate on a more 'normal' level.
The Trafford Centre and Manchester's Arndale had originally reduced their services to shoppers as many stores were forced to close, but today both shopping centres are back up and running again.
The Trafford Centre's opening hours will be Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 12noon-6pm. Individual store times vary.
The Arndale centre has confirmed to us that it will be open from 9am-7pm, but the opening times for individual stores will vary, so you're best checking ahead if you're planning on visiting.
