McDonald’s has reopened more than 1,000 restaurants, including several in Merseyside, after keeping fans waiting for weeks.
The fast food chain has been teasing openings for a while now, with Liverpool and surrounding areas left anxiously waiting for news.
While we may have missed out in the first few announcements, McDonald’s has made up for it with a long list of openings this week.
As of this morning, June 4, there are 30 Merseyside drive-thrus open, with several more close by in Cheshire.
At reopened restaurants there will be a range of rules in place to ensure that things go smoothly and that staff and customers are safe, including contactless payments and face masks.
Each car will also be limited to one order of up to £25. It is worth remembering McDonald's sites will be operating under reduced hours with drive-thrus open from 11am - 10pm.

Customers are being encouraged to download the McDonald's app and pre order their food so it is ready when they reach the drive thru.
