As we prepare to return to work after another festive season many people may already be thinking of when their next period of time off will be.
And there are plenty of Bank Holidays coming up this year that will surely bring a smile to your face, including a special four-day weekend to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
But the next bank holiday after January 3 for the New Year's Day substitute, is a bit of a waiting game until Easter is upon us in April.

Then we will have a Bank Holiday in May and June and then August and after that, it's Christmas once again.
A four-day weekend for the platinum jubilee will see t he May bank holiday moved to Thursday, June 2 in which activity will build across the year in the run-up to the four day weekend that will feature an extensive programme of events.
For those who like to forward plan, here are all the Bank Holidays for 2022 in England and Wales:
New Year's Day substitute on Monday, January 3
Good Friday on Friday, April 15
Easter Monday on Monday, April 18
Early May Bank Holiday on Monday, May 2
Spring Bank Holiday on Thursday, June 2
Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday on Friday, June 3
Summer Bank Holiday on Monday, August 29
Boxing Day on Monday, December 26
Christmas Day substitute on Tuesday, December 27
For those who really like to think far into the future, the first Bank Holiday of 2023 will be New Years substitute day on Monday, January 2.
There will be nothing then until Good Friday on April 7.
If a bank holiday is on a weekend, a ‘substitute’ weekday becomes a bank holiday, normally the following Monday.
The UK government warns that your employer does not have to give you paid leave on public holidays, employers can choose t include bank holidays as part of a worker's statutory annual leave.
Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own bank holidays on several dates throughout the year.
