After a long summer the transfer window has finally shut and clubs know where they stand until at least January.
The return of the August 31 deadline day brought a sense of familiarity after last year's late finish due to the pandemic and things were busier than ever.
For Celtic, it was a full-scale rebuild and a hectic deadline day saw Ange Postecoglou put the finishing touches on his team.
He has 12 new signings to work with after the arrivals of Giorgios Giakoumakis, Cameron Carter-Vickers and winger Jota, while Odsonne Edouard and Ryan Christie headed south.
It was a more subdued one across the city at Rangers but they still had plenty of business to do with John Lundstram and Juninho Bacuna arriving to bolster the midfield.
Aberdeen were one of the busier clubs as they brought in a flurry of new faces to kick-start the Stephen Glass era.
And it was a similar story at Hearts who made Cam Devlin their seventh new arrival as they readjust to life in the top flight.
The rest of the Premiership clubs have been busy too with St Johnstone adding Ali Crawford late in the day while Hibs wrapped up the bulk of their business early on - though did add Middlesbrough's Nathan Wood at the final hour.
Here is every in and out from each of the 12 Premiership clubs.
Aberdeen

Outs: Bruce Anderson (Livingston), Ash Taylor, Tommie Hoban (Crewe), Greg Leigh, Shay Logan (Cove Rangers) , Miko Virtanen (Hamilton), Ethan Ross (free)
Verdict: Stephen Glass said his side are a "work in progress" at the weekend and the arrival of 11 recruits has certainly refreshed them.
Celtic
Ins: Liam Shaw (Sheffield Wednesday) Osaze Urhoghide (Sheffield Wednesday) Liel Abada (Maccabi Petah Tivka), Kyogo Furuhashi (Vissel Kobe), Carl Starfelt (Rubin Kazan) Joe Hart (Tottenham) James McCarthy (free agent), Josip Juranovic (Legia Warsaw), Liam Scales (Shamrock Rovers), Giorgios Giakoumakis (Venlo), Jota (Benfica, loan), Cameron Carter-Vickers (Tottenham, loan)

Dundee

Ins: Luke McCowan (Ayr), Paul McMullan (Dundee United), Ryan Sweeney (Mansfield), Corey Panter (Luton Town, loan), Cillian Sheridan (free agent), Ian Lawlor (Doncaster), Leigh Griffiths (Celtic, loan)
Outs: , Calum Ferrie (Queen’s Park), Jordon Foster (Kelty Hearts), Jack Hamilton, Osman Sow, Lyall Cameron (Peterhead, loan), Josh Mulligan (Peterhead, loan)
Verdict: James McPake pulled off a deadline-day coup by signing old pal Leigh Griffiths. Last-chance saloon for the striker but if he can rediscover his fitness and scoring knack, with a bit of love it could prove massive. McMullan also a huge addition from rivals United.
Dundee United

Ins: Charlie Mulgrew (Blackburn) Trevor Carson (Motherwell), Marc McNulty (Reading, loan) Dylan Levitt (Man Utd, loan) Ilmari Niskanen (Inglostadt), Scott McMann (Hamilton Accies)
Outs: Paul McMullan (Dundee), Dillon Powers, Adam King, Lewis Fraser, Mackenzie Lemon, Jake Davidson (Queen’s Park), Deniz Mehmet (Dunfermline), Lawrence Shankland (Beerschot)
Verdict: Quality not quantity for Tam Courts as he strengthened every area of his United spine. Trevor Carson is tried and tested in goal, Charlie Mulgrew has been a revelation at centre-half and Marc McNulty has returned on loan looking hungry.
Hibs
Ins: Daniel Mackay (Inverness), Jamie Murphy (Rangers), Jake Doyle-Hayes (St Mirren), Chris Mueller (Orlando City), James Scott (Hull, loan), Nathan Wood (Middlesbrough, loan), David Mitchell (Clyde)
Outs: Ofir Marciano, Ryan Shanley (Edinburgh City, loan), David Gray (retired), Fraser Murray (Kilmarnock), Stephen McGinn (Kilmarnock) Stevie Mallan (Malatyaspor), Tom James (Leyton Orient)
Verdict: It was about holding on to prize assets Kevin Nisbet, Josh Doig and Martin Boyle than any incomings. Having kept his squad in tact is has to go down as a successful window for Jack Ross.
Hearts

Ins: Josh Ginnelly (Preston), Alex Cochrane (Brighton, loan), Ross Stewart (Livingston), Beni Baningime (Everton), Ben Woodburn (Liverpool, loan), Taylor Moore (Bristol City, loan), Cammy Devlin (Newcastle Jets)

Verdict: The days of huge overhauls at Hearts seem to be gone.

Verdict: Big names gone but look strong.
Rangers

Ins: Fashion Sakala (KVO), Nnamdi Ofoborh (Bournemouth) John Lundstram (Sheffield United), Charlie McCann (Man Utd), Juninho Bacuna (Huddersfield Town), Juan Alegria (Honka)
Outs: Matthew Shiels (Hamilton), Bongani Zungu (free), Greg Stewart (free) Kai Kennedy (Dunfermline), Kai Kennedy (Dunfermline, loan) James Maxwell (Ayr United) Lewis Mayo (Partick Thistle) George Edmundson (Ipswich), Jordan Jones (Wigan Athletic), Glenn Middleton (St Johnstone, loan), Jake Hastie (Partick Thistle, loan), Cedric Itten (Greuther Furth, loan), Jamie Barjonas (Kelty Hearts), Nikola Katic (Hajduk Split, loan)
Verdict: No sign of a big-money exit. As a result, Gers are in strong shape. Itten's D-Day loan switch to Greuther Furth has lightened the load in attack.
Ross County
Ins: Dominic Samuel (Gillingham), Ross Callachan (Hamilton), Alexander Robertson (Manchester City, loan), David Cancola (Slovan Liberec), Harry Clarke (Arsenal) loan), Ashley Maynard-Brewer (Charlton, loan), Jack Burroughs (Coventry City, loan), Ben Paton (Blackburn Rovers), Jake Vokins (Southampton), Jack Baldwin (Bristol City) Joseph Hungbo (Watford, loan), Alex Samuel (Wycombe Wanderers)

Verdict: There was a real changing of the guard feel to the window.
St Mirren

Ins: Charles Dunne (Motherwell) Curtis Main (Shrewsbury), Greg Kiltie (Kilmarnock), Scott Tanser (St Johnstone), Alan Power (Kilmarnock), Eamonn Brophy (Kilmarnock), Danny Finlayson (Rangers) Connor Ronan (Wolves, loan)
Outs: Dylan Connolly (Northampton), Jake Doyle-Hayes (Hibs), Lewis Jamieson (Inverness, loan), Ilkay Durmas (Lechia Gdansk), Junior Morais (released), Collin Quaner (released), Cammy MacPherson (St Johnstone, loan)
Verdict: Plenty of Power added to the Buddies ranks as Jim Goodwin brought in Alan from KIlmarnock in the centre of midfield and Curtis Main up front. The additions of Eamonn Brophy and Greg Kiltie from Killie too looked to add a new dimension to Saints.
St Johnstone

Ins: Hayden Muller (Millwall, loan), James Brown (Millwall), Glenn Middleton (Rangers, loan), Reece Devine (Manchester United, loan), Ali Crawford (Bolton Wanderers, loan), Lars Dendoncker (Brighton, loan), Cammy MacPherson (St Mirren, loan), Eetu Vertainen (Ilves)
Outs: Scott Tanser (St Mirren), Guy Melamed (released), Craig Conway (released), Jason Kerr (Wigan Athletic), Ali McCann (Preston)
Verdict: A quiet window for Saints up until the D-Day exit of double-winning skipper Jason Kerr. The £600,000 banked from Wigan may boost the coffers but leaves a hole, as does Ali McCann's move to Preston.
