Tools down!!! The Block 2025 auction is finally here!

This season has been an absolute doozy filled with bold design choices and lots of drama. But thankfully, we’ve also fallen in love with the contestants, making it harder to watch finale episode without biting our nails and pacing around the room.

So, to find out whether this season’s lovable Blockheads made any cashola from their weeks of strenuous work, or weather they’re walking away empty handed, keep on reading.

AUCTION 1 — House 3: Britt and Taz

Say hello to the country coppers! (Image: Nine)

Britt and Taz were the first couple to kick off the auction festivities. The cop couple sat together in a seperate room nervously as the auction began. Along with their beautiful home — dubbed the “wellness home” — the winner of the auction will get $50,000 worth of wines and a Monopoly board game.

What a steal!!!

The bidding battle was between The Block favourite bidder Danny Wallace and an unknown bidder who had a representative on site. It was tense for a while there while Danny made one of his signature bids, forcing the crowd to do quick maths. But in the end, the final bid was for $3,410,000 leaving Britt and Taz with a lovely $420,000 profit!

RESERVE: $2,990,000
WINNING BID: $3,410,000
PROFIT: $420,000

AUCTION 2 — House 5: Mat & Robby

After this season, they feel like my besties too. (Image: Nine)

Following Britt and Taz’s brilliant result, Besties from Adelaide Mat and Robby were feeling hopeful. The front-runners have one of the most beloved homes in the mix. They have interest from Danny Wallis, Buyer’s agent Frank Valentic, pub owner Mitch Duncan and artist David Bromley, whose art is used in the home.

While Danny came in hot with the first bid, the number only seemed to climb in increments. After hitting the $3 million mark, the property was officially on the market. But sadly for the fellas, the other buyers seemed to back off.

Danny ended up buying the home with a winning bid of $3,099,999,10, leaving the boys with a profit of $109,999.10. Of course, they’ll split the winnings, leaving them with $54,500.05 each.

Tragically, they were absolutely gutted.

RESERVE: $2,990,000
WINNING BID: $3,099,999.10
PROFIT: $109,999.10

AUCTION 3 — House 1: Emma and Ben

Yeehaw! The new parents! (Image: Nine)

If there’s one couple that Australia is getting behind, it’s new parents Emma and Ben. After giving birth to their little boy Bailey just weeks prior, they’re hoping for a hefty chunk of cash to set him up for his future and hopefully make up for how bloody awful it must have been for Emma working on a construction site while pregnant.

Despite a considerable amount of interest, it was basically crickets when their auction began. The bidding reached $2.97 million — which was under their reserve — before it was paused. After some (incredibly nail-biting) deliberations, one of the vendors offered bid od $3.10 million.

In the end, the house was passed in and it was an incredibly heartbreaking for the sweet couple.

This was a hard watch. (Image: Nine / The Block)

RESERVE: $2,990,000

PROFIT: N/A

AUCTION 4 — House 4: Sonny and Alicia

But why does this pic look like its straight out of a catalog. (Image: Nine)

When Sonny and Alicia walked into the auction room with Scotty, they had low expectations — especially after watching two disappointing results in a row.

However, after skimming a cheeky $50,000 off their reserve after winning the final Front Yard Week, they’re in a slightly better position than the other teams. Plus, they have the caravan on their property, which is a big value add for any potential buyer.

Interestingly, they open up the bidding with a vendor bid of $3,050,000. After one of the longest pauses in history, buyers agent Frank swoops in with an offer of $3,060,000. Naturally, Sonny and Alicia are elated.

I’d be laughing too if I won a nifty $120,000. (Image: Nine)

RESERVE: $2,940,000
WINNING BID: $3,060,000
PROFIT: $120,000

AUCTION 5 — House 2: Han and Can

Bless these gals and their love for dramatic Torii gates. (Image: Nine)

You know how they say “lucky last”? Sadly, that wasn’t the case for motorbike loving Han and Can.

While they came into the auction with no registered bidders, the dynamic duo were holding on to hope that one of the cash-flushed bidders would swoop in. They kicked off the bidding with a vendor bid of $3.10 million but after no buyers bit the bait, they passed in on the property.

It was a hard watch for the couple, who truly looked devastated by the outcome. However,

“I think we’ve done the best thing that we can,” Han told Scotty Cam.

“I think that’s the safest result,” Shelley confirmed.

I feel so bad for them! (Image: Nine)

RESERVE: $2,990,000
WINNING BID: N/A
PROFIT: N/A

After one of the most stressful auctions I’ve ever watched on this God forsaken show, it turned out to be Britt and Taz who had the most profitable sale. That means the country cops are now $100,000 richer from prize money!

Stay tuned, more to come! To tune in live, you can watch The Block on 9Now.
