There were no secrets about Nottingham Forest's need for new additions after their promotion to the Premier League, but the sight of a 30th new player arriving at the City Ground is still notable.
Steve Cooper's side lost a number of stars after winning last season's play-off final. Loanees including James Garner moved on to pastures new, while stars of last season's squad - not least penalty-saving goalkeeper Brice Samba - were snapped up by other clubs.
After starting to rebuild the squad in June, Forest added more than 20 players over the summer. A further seven have followed since the turn of the year, with free agent Andre Ayew the most recent, and Mirror Football has taken a closer look at how they have all got on.
Taiwo Awoniyi (Union Berlin)
Brought in to score the goals to keep Forest in the Premier League. Hasn't been prolific, but winners against West Ham, Liverpool and Southampton could prove huge.
Dean Henderson (Man Utd, loan)
Exactly what Cooper's team needed between the sticks. Their season may hinge on how well they get on while the goalkeeper is out injured.
Giulian Biancione (Troyes)
Two substitute appearances his only involvement in the league. The French defender is only 22, though, so could be one for the future.

Moussa Niakhate (Mainz)
Senegal defender was in the starting XI for the first two games of the season. Has been missing with a hamstring injury since, but is closing in on a return.
Omar Richards (Bayern Munich)
Suffered a leg break before the start of the season. Finally closing in on full fitness, but has missed out on Forest's 25-man squad for the remainder of the season.
Neco Williams ( Liverpool )
A useful addition who played regularly before the World Cup break. No longer a guaranteed starter, though, with other new signings occupying the full-back spots.
Wayne Hennessey ( Burnley )
Signed as a pure back-up to Henderson and has played just twice in the league. The January deadline-day arrival of another goalkeeper reminds the veteran of where he stands in the squad.
Brandon Aguilera (Alajuelense)
Teenager is already a full Costa Rica international but is broadly considered one for the future at the City Ground. Has joined Portuguese side Estoril on loan for the second half of the season.
Harry Toffolo ( Huddersfield )
Arrived as cover after Richards' injury and hasn't started since the World Cup. Remains in the 25-man squad after a deadline-day loan move to Anderlecht collapsed.
Lewis O'Brien (Huddersfield)
Arrived with Toffolo from Huddersfield and has played just 57 minutes since Forest returned to league action in December. Left out of Cooper's squad for the remainder of a campaign, but a loan exit fell through.
Jesse Lingard (Man Utd)
The marquee signing of the summer window, Lingard has blown hot and cold. Was getting into his stride before a recent hamstring injury, but has yet to score in the league this term.
Orel Mangala (Stuttgart)
Belgian midfielder has had his injury troubles. Recently put a run of games together, though, and Forest will hope he can stay fit for the remainder of the season.
Emmanuel Dennis ( Watford )
Has failed to replicate his Watford form, scoring just one Premier League goal. Way down the pecking order with just three league starts, and might have left in January if the right buyer had come along.
Cheikhou Kouyate (free agent)
The veteran was snapped up as a free agent a few weeks after leaving Crystal Palace. Showed impressive consistency before the World Cup break, but has been out injured and missed Forest's games around the turn of the year.
Remo Freuler (Atalanta)
A key pick-up who has been important for Forest since getting up to full fitness. Has brought top-level quality to the East Midlands, playing the full 90 minutes in nine of Forest's last 10 games.
Morgan Gibbs-White ( Wolves )
Cooper got his man as Forest broke their transfer record for Gibbs-White. The England Under-21 international has only scored two league goals, but is generally one of the first names on the team sheet.
Hwang Ui-jo (Bordeaux)
South Korea forward Hwang arrived after top-scoring for relegated Bordeaux in Ligue 1 last term. Was loaned to Olympiacos before making a competitive appearance for his parent club.
Renan Lodi (Atletico Madrid, loan)
Brazil international has brought steel to Forest's left-hand side. His recent run has coincided with solid form for Cooper's team, and explained the willingness to potentially send Toffolo out on loan.
Willy Boly (Wolves)
Forced to wait for first-team involvement but finally beginning to make an impact. Has beaten Steve Cook to a spot in the 25-man squad for the remainder of the campaign.
Josh Bowler (Blackpool)
Signed off the back of an impressive season at Blackpool, but immediately loaned to Olympiacos. Was used sparingly in Greece and is now back on loan with his former club.
Loic Bade (Rennes, loan)
Didn't play a single minute for Forest. Loan was cut short midway through the season to free up space for other new arrivals.
Serge Aurier (free agent)
Move for the former Villarreal defender had an air of panic about it but he's shown his worth. Has supplanted Williams on the right as the season has gone on.
Adnan Kanuric (free agent)
Young goalkeeper snapped up as a future prospect. Has been used by his new club in Premier League 2.
Gustavo Scarpa (Palmeiras)
Brazilian talent has been thrown pretty much straight in at the deep end. Forest have been unbeaten in his first three league outings, while he has also been used in the cups.
Danilo (Palmeiras)
Forest fought off competition from a number of top clubs to land the Brazil prospect. Made his league debut from the bench against Bournemouth and could have a bigger role to play between now and May.
Chris Wood ( Newcastle, loan)
A necessary addition after Awoniyi's injury. Arrives with Premier League pedigree, but remains to be seen how prolific he will be.
Keylor Navas (PSG, loan)
Far from the worst option as cover between the sticks. The Costa Rica keeper is a three-time Champions League winner from his time with Real Madrid but will need to find match-sharpness quickly after playing just twice all season for his parent club.
Felipe (Atletico Madrid)
Offers more steel at the back after joining from Atleti. Has played just 13 league minutes in Spain in 2023, so will need to get up to speed.
Jonjo Shelvey (Newcastle)
While Shelvey's top-flight experience is evident, it remains to be seen what he can offer Forest. An injury played a part in him only playing 34 minutes for Newcastle this term, but that was far from the only factor.
Andre Ayew (free agent)
The Ghana forward has been reunited with Cooper after working together at Swansea. If he can get anywhere close to the form he showed under the Welshman in the Championship, his new club will have done brilliantly.
