In the words of Lizzo, it’s ‘about damn time’, but McDonald’s Monopoly is finally back, ready for customers to peel stickers, win prizes and enjoy their favourite fast food - all at the same time.
After weeks of anticipation, the popular prize giveaway game returned to the restaurant chain today (September 7) and runs until October 18.
Of course, there’s nothing more annoying than ordering a meal only to find that the particular item you ordered doesn’t come with the Monopoly stickers - so we’ve compiled a list of every item on the menu that gives you the chance to win a prize.

For those new to McDonald’s Monopoly, the promotion was launched back in 2005 and works in a similar way to the classic Monopoly board game. Customers over the age of 18 have the chance to win prizes by collecting game pieces from menu items such as fries, wraps, drinks and McFlurry’s.
Each of the participating menu items have a peel off sticker where customers can instantly win free food items and bigger prizes or collect property pieces of the same colour for a bigger prize via the MyMcDonald’s App.
New for this year there’s a ‘Double peel’ option where shoppers can peel on pack, then peel in the McDonald’s app, which features a digital gameboard and prize wallet, giving them more ways to collect and win.
This year, a lucky few winners will be able to win the top prize of £100k cash. Players could win the second top prize, a brand new MINI Electric Car, as well as package holidays, entertainment subscriptions and experiences also up for grabs.

As if the Monopoly game returning isn’t exciting enough, today marks the long-awaited return of the Spicy Chicken McNuggets, with a new and improved recipe. Now ‘spicier than ever before’ the Spicy Nuggets will be included in this year’s Monopoly game for the first time ever, with their packaging featuring the game stickering.
In more exciting food news the Big Tasty, Big Tasty with Bacon, Mozzarella Dippers and the Mars and Twix McFlurry are also back on the menu from today for a limited time only.
