'Every Little Helps' Kieran Tierney pokes fun at Tesco carrier 'wash' bag

Ex-Hoops star Kieran Tierney has poked fun at his Tesco 'wash bag' after his new 'fashion accessory' goes viral.

This comes after the Arsenal left-back arrived at Bramall Lane for his side's FA Cup tie against Sheffield United with a Tesco bag for life holding all of his 'essentials'.

And many were quick to point out the unusual fashion choice for the youngster but after being named man of the match he simply tweeted: "Every little helps."

While many footballers normally show off their Louis Vuitton or Gucci wash bags under their arms, KT opted for a cheaper alternative.

His sister Natalie even joked that she knew what to buy him next for Christmas. She said: "Well I know what l'll get him for Christmas this year for once!"

The 23-year-old is well-known for being very humble and down to earth.

Last month, the star even nodded his local 'young team' by having 'YMTOI' embossed on his Adidas X19's.

Tierney took to Instagram to show off his new boots as he returned to the  Arsenal  training ground.

Tierney, orginally from Muirhouse, has always spoken fondly of his hometown and now has shown his appreciation by having 'YMTOI' which stands for Young Muirhouse Toi - embroidered on his new Adidas boots.

Kieran left the Hoops last year to join Arsenal and last month went back to training after being out since December with a shoulder problem.
