Every Leeds United player that has gone to a European Championship - select your best XI

A bumper crop of Leeds United players will be present at this summer's European Championship.

While Kalvin Phillips waits to see if he has successfully graduated from Gareth Southgate's provisional squad to England's confirmed squad, his Elland Road team-mates Liam Cooper, Mateusz Klich, Robin Koch, Tyler Roberts, Diego Llorente and Gjanni Alioski are all hard at work preparing for this summer's tournament.

If Phillips does make it, that will mean seven Leeds players are present - by far the biggest Whites contingent in the competition's 61-year history.

That easily pips Euro 1992's four-strong Leeds contingent, but given the history of the tournament and Leeds' recent spell in the wilderness before Marcelo Bielsa's arrival, this is not too surprising.

Stuart Dallas' 2016 inclusion with Northern Ireland was the first time a current Leeds player was selected for 16 years, while the competition's humble beginnings which saw just four teams compete until 1980, limited the opportunity for Revie-era favourites such as Billy Bremner and Peter Lorimer to feature.

Ahead of this summer's long-awaited tournament, we thought we'd look back through the history books to see just how many Leeds United players have been included in European Championship squads and for a bit of post-season fun, we're inviting you to draw up your best all-time XI from these players.

Select your best XI

Granted, you're not spoilt for choice in certain positions, but we thought it would be interesting to see how Leeds United's all-time best European Championship XI would look.

There are plenty of options at the back, but you may need to get creative up front. We've not seen Stuart Dallas play up front before, so perhaps now is his time.
