Greggs is reopening 800 stores across the country today with 12 of these being located in Merseyside.
Stores will be welcoming customers back for the first time since March, when the bakery chain closed all stores as the country went into lockdown to prevent further spread of coronavirus.
There are two stores in the city centre reopening based on Bold Street and Lord Street.
Its Edge Lane, Crosby, Kirkby and Netherton stores are also all reopening. You can find the full list of Merseyside stores reopening here.
Like many food chains, Greggs will be offering a reduced menu during its first few weeks of opening, however there are still a number of fan favouirtes available.
Sausage rolls (both meat and Vegan), breakfast sandwiches, pizzas and doughnuts are among items customers can order.
New safety measures will also be in place across all shops to help keep customers and staff safe.
Greggs has introduced a one-way system to help ensure social distancing and new screens are at all till points.
Only one adult per household will be permitted to enter the shop at a time to join a social distanced queue, and there will be a reduced number of colleagues behind the tills.
