Every golfer in the Tour Championship is going to make a ridiculous amount of money

The PGA Tour season will come to an end this week in Atlanta, as the 30 top players in the FedEx Cup standings will battle it out in the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club.

Every player who tees it up is guaranteed a really sweet payday, including the winner who will walk away with $15 million bucks and be crowned the FedEx Cup champion.

This year’s event has a new format as Justin Thomas, who’s atop the FedEx Cup standings, will start the tournament at 10-under. Patrick Cantlay is second and will start at 8-under and Brooks Koepka is in third and will start at 7-under.

You can see a complete breakdown of the starting scores right here.

While that first place payout is a lot of cash, everybody else will make some good money as even last place makes $395K. There is no cut in this event, so the worst you can do is make that last-place money.

My goodness.

Check out this breakdown:

A top-5 finish will be a higher payout than any tournament win this year.

Not a bad way to make a living.
