Every game, trailer, and announcement in the 2025 PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted

The PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted has just wrapped up, and what a show it was. We counted down The Council's 25 Most Wanted games, saw over 15 world premieres, and got new trailers, updates, and announcements for dozens of upcoming titles.

Whether you didn't watch the show when it broadcast or you got too excited watching Commander Ward running around a spaceship and missed a couple of things, here's a breakdown of everything in the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted 2025.

The 25 Most Wanted PC games for 2026

#25: Reanimal

Developer: Tarsier Studios | Release Date: TBD

From the makers of Little Nightmares 1 and 2 comes another co-op horror game, and this one's even more unnerving than its predecessors. In Reanimal, a young brother and sister return to the island they were raised on, only now it's infested by horrifying chimera hellbent on chasing them through every decrepit corner of what once was home.

#24: Grave Seasons

Developer: Perfect Garbage | Release Date: 2026

Grave Seasons is a farming sim with a supernatural twist. You still explore a cute, cosy town while tending to your plants, but you also investigate a magical murder. Don't worry, though, you can still take time out of your sleuthing to date the gothic townsfolk. Yes, even the killer.

#23: Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

Developer: TT Games | Release Date: TBD

Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight combines the slapstick humour of the Lego games with the simple and brutal combat of the Arkham series. In this open world adventure, you'll see young Bruce Wayne grow from a wee boy to the caped crusader, defender of Gotham. Watching his parents collapse into a pile of bricks is going to be brutal.

#22: Clockwork Revolution

(Image credit: InXile Entertainment / Microsoft)

Developer: inXile | Release Date: TBD

Travel into the past to change the future in Clockwork Revolution, a new RPG from inXile, the studio created by former Interplay Entertainment founder Brian Fargo. It's steampunk, it's witty, it's got a bunch of characters you absolutely want to shoot in the face. It's easy to see why this made it onto the Most Wanted list.

#21: Recur

Developer: kaleidoscube | Release Date: TBD

Move forward and time moves forward with you. Go backwards and you rewind the clock. It's a simple, intuitive premise that Recur delivers with a superb sense of style. Just don't go too far forward in time, or you'll hit the end of the world, which it's on you to prevent.

#20: PVKK

Developer: Bippinbits | Release Date: TBD

Planetenverteidigungskanonenkommandant, or, PVKK for short, puts you at the overwhelming controls of a planetary defense cannon. There are so many buttons, and we want to press them all. You remain in your bunker sipping tea while fending off an invasion. Just another day in the office. Make sure everything is oiled so you can carry out your superiors' orders post haste!

#19: Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core

Developer: Ghost Ship | Release Date: Q1 2026

Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core is a roguelite variation of the co-op shooter we already know and love. Start each mission with basic gear and collect random upgrades as you descend deeper into the depths. Make sure you co-ordinate with your teammates to develop powerful synergies that will help you get farther and farther each run. Rock and Stone, baby!

#18: Thick As Thieves

Developer: OtherSide | Release Date: TBD

It's the turn of the century, and for a no-good thief such as yourself, there are riches aplenty to be found on the streets. But there are also other crooks and the old bill trying to relieve you of your hard-earned score.

Thick as Thieves drops you into a dark, wet, 1910s metropolis where the warm glow of a gas street lamp is something to be avoided, not basked in. Hide in the shadows, clamber up to the rooftops, and slink away into the alleys as you rob rich citizens for everything they're worth. Just make sure another thief isn't on your tail.

#17: Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival

Developer: Saber | Release Date: TBD

Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival isn't one for the faint of heart. This first-person horror game is filled to the brim with gore and grotesque body horror. Be sure you keep a sick bag nearby when you watch the trailer.

#16: Marvel's Blade

Developer: Arkane | Release Date: TBD

A Blade game made by Arkane? Yes please. It's been a while since we heard anything about Marvel's Blade, but putting the iconic leather-clad vampire hunter in the hands of the developers who gave us Dishonored is a slam dunk, so we'll just sit patiently and wait until we learn more.

#15: Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls

Developer: Arc System Works | Release Date: TBD

Who would win in a fight, Storm or Captain America? Could Spider-Man beat up Star-Lord? What about a match up between Doctor Doom and Ghost Rider? These are questions we've argued about in playgrounds since we were kids. Well, wonder no more, because you'll soon be able to put your theoretical match ups to the test and duke it out in Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls.

#14: Arma 4

Developer: Bohemia | Release Date: 2027

One bullet could be the difference between a perfectly executed plan and a quick death. No hit markers, no frills. Just you, your squad, and your map (maybe.) Arma 4 is the next instalment in one of the best military sim series out there, and lead producer Natalia Agafonova sets the tone for this sequel brilliantly in an underground bunker with an assault rifle in hand.

#13: Star Wars Zero Company

Developer: Bit Reactor | Release Date: TBD

What do you get when you combine Star Wars and XCOM? A whole bunch of excited gamers. Command an elite squad in the waning years of the Clone Wars in Star Wars Zero Company, a turn-based tactical game with an original story. If you loved the original Battlefront games, you'll know there are still many tales to tell and battles to fight from this era. The fate of the galaxy is in your hands. Are you up to the task?

#12: Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4

Developer: Deep Silver | Release Date: TBD

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 aims to take everything that made the original RTS games shine and give them some modern polish. Introducing the Adeptus Mechanicus as a playable faction for the first time, to say we're excited to take these tech-priests and their mechanical monstrosities out for a spin would be an understatement.

#11: Light No Fire

Developer: Hello Games | Release Date: TBD

From the developer of No Man's Sky, which started controversially but has become one of the best space games ever made, comes a huge procedural fantasy world to explore. Light No Fire swaps a vast galaxy for a single planet the size of Earth, and once again Hello Games is teasing a monumental experience. Clearly, the turmoil that followed the launch of No Man's Sky hasn't dampened the studio's ambition.

#10: Nioh 3

Developer: Koei Tecmo | Release Date: TBD

Get ready for the clash of steel in Nioh 3, the next step in the action samurai series. You'll fight deadly yokai in this high-speed game, and you can seamlessly switch between the samurai and ninja styles to get the edge on your foes.

#9: Big Walk

Developer: Panic | Release Date: 2026

Sometimes, you just need to go on a Big Walk with your friends. But that can feel a little aimless, so this game is chock full of minigames and challenges designed to be completed with other people. Will you be able to discover and best them all or will you get lost in the forest and need to figure out a way to find your friends again?

#8: Onimusha: Way of the Sword

Developer: Capcom | Release Date: TBD

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is the first mainline entry in the Onimusha series in 20 years, and we can't wait to explore its version of a normally tranquil Kyoto that's been twisted by clouds of Malice. Get ready to slay some demons and cleanse the place.

#7: Resident Evil Requiem

Developer: Capcom | Release Date: February 27, 2026

Return to Raccoon City and uncover the many mysteries still left to unravel as you step into the shoes of FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft in Resident Evil Requiem, the latest in the long-running survival horror series.

Federal agents see their fair share of weird things, but will Grace be prepared for the horrors that await her? Will you?

#6: Control 2

Developer: Remedy | Release Date: TBD

Return to The Oldest House (maybe, details are sparse at the moment) when Control 2 comes out sometime in the future. The world of Control is connected to Remedy's other games, Alan Wake and FBC: Firebreak, so we could get even more intermingling as the story of the Hiss continues.

#5: Grand Theft Auto 6

Developer: Rockstar | Release Date: November 19, 2026

It's GTA 6, what more do we need to say? The upcoming story of Lucia and Jason is one of the most hotly anticipated games in history. It's been pushed back until November 19, 2026, and despite many leaks, there's still a lot we don't know about our return to Vice City, and what Rockstar is doing to build on the GTA formula.

#4: Stranger Than Heaven

Developer: Ryu Ga Gotoku | Release Date: TBD

From the creators of the Yazuka and Like a Dragon games comes Stranger Than Heaven, an action experience that will transport us to the streets of Osaka, Japan across three time periods: 1915, 1929, and 1943. Seeing the Kabukichō-inspired Kamurochō district evolve over the course of the Yakuza games has been a delight for many fans, so we're excited to see what RGG can do with a time-hopping story like this.

#3: Haunted Chocolatier

Developer: ConcernedApe | Release Date: TBD

Stardew Valley is going strong almost a decade after it released, but we're still hyped for developer ConcernedApe's upcoming game, Haunted Chocolatier. Rather than farming, you'll be making delicious chocolates. Oh, and living in a haunted castle, because videogames are cool like that. That's why Haunted Chocolatier picks up the bronze medal.

#2: 007 First Light

Developer: IO Interactive | Release Date: TBD

Who doesn't want to be James Bond? 007 First Light looks like the perfect blend of Uncharted and Hitman, made by the latter's IO Interactive, too. With stunning levels, slick bluffing mechanics, and gadgets galore, it's easy to see why this is The Council's number two pick.

#1: Slay the Spire 2

Developer: Megacrit | Release Date: March 2026

Slay the Spire inspired the modern deckbuilding roguelike trend, so of course the whole gaming world took notice when sequel Slay the Spire 2 was announced last year. We got a big behind the scenes look at how development is going and we simply cannot wait to play it. The Council voted it their number one Most Wanted game, and we stand behind that decision fully.

Every game featured in The PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted

Night Swarm

Kicking off our pre-show is a game you can go and play right now: Night Swarm. This is a top-down "bullet heaven" roguelike aimed at fans of Vampire Survivors. Summon dark allies and tear through your foes. (But read on first, we've got loads of cool games you won't want to miss.)

Blood: Refreshed Supply

Next up is another game you can go and play right now: Blood: Refreshed Supply is out now! This is a rework of the classic 1997 FPS, which we first revealed during our Tokyo Direct back in September. The wait is over, go and get your hands dirty.

SOL Shogunate

Substructure

Carmageddon: Rogue Shift

Rogue Point

Plan, adapt, and overcome the odds in Rogue Point, a new PvE FPS game. This new trailer is hilarious and shows off just how fun and silly doing heists can be when your mates are determined to screw up your carefully laid out plans.

Nutmeg

Nutmeg sees the beautiful game reimagined as though you're a kid playing with trading cards in their bedroom. Matches all unfold as a series of card battles, but you still get an announcer cheering and screaming to hype you up. It's a unique spin on football for those who'd rather strategize than kick a ball about themselves.

MIO: Memories in Orbit

A metroidvania is only as good as its world, and MIO: Memories in Orbit has a fascinating one. Play as MIO, an android exploring a technological ark called the Vessel that's been reclaimed by nature. It looks absolutely stunning, and there's a demo you can play now.

Ferocious

You know what makes any FPS game better? That's right, dinosaurs. Especially dinosaurs you can befriend so they'll aid you in taking down enemy outposts by charging horn-first into them. Ferocious is available today for some prehistoric fun.

Animalkind

Animalkind is a reminder of why videogames are so awesome. Choose your cute critter from a selection of corgi, raccoon, and kitty, and then pilot a hulking mech to build an adorable town in the woods for you and your animal pals. Who needs opposable thumbs when you've got an EVA?

Ex Sanguis

Okay, cutesy time is over. Ex Sanguis is all about gothic, demonic mistresses raining blood onto the Earth. It's a real vibe shift. This is a roguelite where you'll warp time and space to save the dying world from the forces of Stasis. Happy hunting.

Neath

Dogpile

Merge small dogs. Make bigger dogs. Merge them again for even bigger dogs. That's what you'l be doing in Dogpile, a new deckbuilder where you can break the game with absolutely ludicrous combos and doggo powers like Barky and Sleepy. Not sure how that last one will help, but there's a demo out now, so you can find out for yourself.

Cairn

From the creators of Haven comes Cairn, a survival game about climbing a peak never before bested. You'll have to plan each step and handhold of your journey up Mount Kami if you want to survive the perilous ascent.

The cel shaded art style looks blissful, but the climb will be anything but. Your legs are looking a little shaky there. Better find a ledge to rest on before you hit your final resting place on the ground far below.

Lunar Strike

The Moon does not forgive, and you need to make sure it doesn't forget. Lunar Strike is a narrative-driven sci-fi game where you have to preserve the past to save the future. There's absolutely no combat in this game, so it's perfect for those who seek non-violent solutions to problems. (Next up, a game all about shooting monsters in the face.)

Killing Floor 3

What's that I hear? Oh, it's the sound of horrific Zed monstrosities trying to claw my face off. Killing Floor 3 Season 2: Operation Breakout is here. I mean here, right now, because it went live during the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted. Go play it and check out the reintroduced Stalker. Oh how we've missed its cloaking antics.

Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes

In Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes, you have to lead your fleet to salvation as you flee the annihilation of the Twelve Colonies. Part RTS, part roguelite, all Battlestar Galactica.

Eteo

Soulmask Shifting Sands DLC

Soulmask is finally launching into 1.0 spring, 2026, and it's getting a new Egyptian Gods-themed DLC to go along with it. The Shifting Sands DLC swaps the jungles of the Americas for harsh desert. Don new masks and create magnificent Solar Barques in the next chapter of this survival adventure. Don't forget to, uh, convince some new followers to join you so they can do all the grunt work, too.

Epoch Reset

Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War

Queen's Domain

DarkSwitch

Oh my, what a pretty home tree you've got there. Sure would be a shame if it were attacked by monstrosities that lurk within the ever-encroaching fog. This is DarkSwitch, a tower defence-style strategy game where you have to defend your sanctuary from those that would try and take it from you. Will you build an Elvish utopia or succumb to the darkness?

Hello Sunshine

Corporate life is hell, and Hello Sunshine imagines a world that exists in the ruins of vast companies. It's also got giant robots and a jarringly cutesy UI. It's a strange experience, but one we can't wait to get stuck into when it finally launches. Stay in the shadow of your robo pal during the day to stay out of the boiling sun and huddle up next to them at night for warmth.

High on Life 2

And now we go behind-the-scenes of High on Life 2. This is one of the wackiest FPS games ever made and is somehow also a skateboarding game. Wondering how it all works? Take a peek behind the curtain and see just how the devs came up with all their weird and wonderful ideas.

Last Flag

We went to LA to film this documentary and learn more about Last Flag, which reimagines a childhood playground classic from a studio founded by Imagine Dragons manager Mac Reynolds and his brother, lead singer Dan.

The hero shooter they've come up with is fully focused on capture the flag, a mode we have a lot of love for at PC Gamer—there's more than one Tribes fan on the team. We've gone hands-on with Last Flag ourselves, and one feature we especially like is that each team gets to hide their flag somewhere on their side of the map before a match begins.

Witchspire

Time to get cosy with Witchspire, the creature tamer and building game that lets your magical self run wild and free. Use spells to chop trees down and make your perfect little cottage out in the woods. Watch out though, some nasty magic is going about turning your friendly critters into hulking monstrosities.

Tamer Town

Raising your critters isn't just about training and battling, they also need a good environment to thrive in. That's why in Tamer Town, not only do you catch and fight your Mokiton, but you build them a cosy place to call home. Attract other trainers and see whose little pals are the best.

Crimson Desert

Next up is Crimson Desert, the action RPG with mechs to pilot, dragons you can fly, and a slew of tough bosses to face off against. It looks like a hell of an adventure, and you'll be able to play it on March 19, 2026.

Spellcasters Chronicles

Spellcasters Chronicles, developed and published by Quantic Dream, is a 3v3 strategy action multiplayer where you fire off devastating spells at your foes and summon hordes of critters. Because why fight yourself when you've got minions who can battle for you? There's a closed beta you can sign up for right now.

When Sirens Fall Silent

Modulus

This is one for those of you who just love optimization. Modulus lets you build a beautiful and efficient assembly line that spans multiple floating islands. It seems like something else is going on, but the trailer only gives us a tease, so you'll have to play the demo to find out more.

Guild Wars: Reforged

Step back into the world of Tyria and re-experience the classic MMORPG with new and improved art and quality-of-life features. Guild Wars: Reforged is out now, just waiting for you to embark on adventures once again.

Wardrum

Den of Wolves

Next up is a look at upcoming cyberpunk FPS Den of Wolves. This video shows that you'll need good teamwork and a quick trigger finger to survive the heists on offer from the former Payday 2 developers. Don't be like the lucky guy who got to try it out for himself and was the first one to break stealth.

Last Man Sitting

This isn't technically a world premiere, but it may as well be. Last Man Sitting has undergone a complete visual and gameplay transformation. Ride around the office on a spinny chair and shoot up robotic appliances that have come to life. If you've always hated that pesky printer on the third floor that jams and makes you late to meetings, now's your chance to get revenge and do a sick kickflip while you're at it.

About Fishing

Gods, Death & Reapers

What, you thought that was a game over screen? Death can't hold you back in Gods, Death & Reapers. Well, actually, it's trying to, but you're a Reaper who doesn't like to be told what to do. You can sign up for the alpha playtest now.

Down with the Ship

Now we've got a great montage for you. You know what they say, a true captain goes down with their ship, and in Down with the Ship, you'll have no choice, because it's pretty hard to escape when you've been blasted to smithereens in the vacuum of space.

Do your best to build the perfect vessel in this asynchronous auto battler that'll pit your designs against the designs of other players. Will you climb through the ranks or end up as a pile of scrap?

Unyverse

Sandwiched in the middle of this montage is Unyverse, an exciting Afrofuturist action RPG where you get to design a character and then face off against terrifying beasts with fighting game-style combat. There's a demo on Steam that you can try out for yourself.

Brightfall

Rounding out the montage is Brightfall, a dark, co-op survival roguelite. The very world around you is being warped and twisted by dark forces, changing before your eyes. Or maybe you just stayed out in the sun too long, can't be sure.

Let it Die: Inferno

Next up is the sequel nobody expected. Let it Die: Inferno flips the original on its head and sees us descending into the depths rather than scaling a high tower. With brutal melee and tense extraction matches, each match is sure to be a nail-biter.

Halloween

Do you hear those hauntingly familiar notes, too? Michael Myers is back to terrorize another quaint little suburb. Only this time, you could be Mike! Halloween is a new asymmetric multiplayer game coming September 8, 2026, so sharpen your kitchen knife and get ready to raise hell.

Streets of Fortuna

Live out your own rags to riches story in Streets of Fortuna, a new sandbox game set in a procedurally generated city. There's no class system, just go and live however you want to secure the life you deserve. Steal, persuade, bribe, your story is yours to tell.

Lunar Abyss

Now that's a bullet hell, baby. You just saw the trailer for Luna Abyss, an upcoming narrative FPS set in a megastructure on an imposter moon. Play as Fawkes, a prisoner condemned to spend the rest of their life imprisoned there. Will you lay down and accept your fate or fight for freedom?

Remnant Protocol

Capital under siege. An unknown enemy. The blessed mother possibly dead. Things aren't looking hopeful in Remnant Protocol, an upcoming flight sim and space strategy game. It has stunning sci-fi visuals and sound effects, and puts you right into the cockpit so you can get at the heart of the action.

Rivage

Rhell: Warped Worlds & Troubled Times

Get ready to combine spell after spell after spell in Rhell: Warped Worlds & Troubled Times. This delightful game will challenge your out of the box thinking skills. You can combine all sorts of magical effects to create weird and wonderful combinations, like turning a clone of yourself into a puddle so its weight can keep a button pressed down. Isn't magic wonderful?

Be My Horde

You know what's better than fighting off hordes of undead baddies? Raising your own legion of zombified minions to surround you and do all the dirty work for you. In Be My Horde, out now, you'll become the necromancer and turn your fallen foes against their former allies. It's deliciously wicked.

Space Warlord Baby Trading Simulator

Regions of Ruin: Runegate

Regions of Ruin: Runegate is a 2D pixelated side scroller that's both adorably charming and incredibly violent. A perfect combination. Rebuild a home for your Dwarven brethren and have a lot of fun slaying goblins while you're at it.

Starsand Island

Next up is a game that will have you wanting to throw your laptop into the ocean so you can go and live on a gorgeous island instead of working a nine-to-five. Starsand Island is all about farming, building, and even some creature capturing. Ditch the grind and go and live a wholesome life.

Esoteric Ebb

Tabletop adventures are great, but what do you do when you've got the itch to play but your friends aren't available? Enter Esoteric Ebb, a CRPG that's perfect for fans of roleplay. You roll dice, have a goblin sidekick, and unravel a political conspiracy. You play as a government goon, the world's worst cleric, so don't despair at any bad rolls—lean into them and embrace failure.

Dungeons of Dusk

The House of Hikmah

Samson

The Relic: First Guardian

This new trailer for The Relic: First Guardian is less combat focused than the one we showed during the PC Gaming Show: Tokyo Direct. Instead, you get to revel in the tragedy that can befall a small village in this world and learn more about one of the action game's many sorrowful bosses. They each have a story to tell so that you feel really bad when you inevitably have to slay them.

Splitgate: Arena Reloaded

Developer 1047 Games has been listening to player feedback and is relaunching Splitgate 2 as Splitgate: Arena Reloaded. No more classes, no more abilities, just you, your guns, and your portals. The aim is to emphasize everything that made Splitgate stand out. It's launching December 17, still free-to-play.

Springs, Eternal

Inkblood

Away From Home

Perhaps one of the strangest games in today's show, Away From Home is an RPG set in a chaotic dreamland. Fights are all rhythm game segments, and you can transform into a muscled out beast. Oh, and there's an enemy that looks just like Johnny Bravo. Like we said, wild.

Damon and Baby

Okay, scratch that. This is one of the strangest games we've seen today. Damon and Baby combines top down shooting, exploration, and pairs up a demon and a small baby. This is exactly the kind of thing that makes videogames so great.

Windrose

We have one more pirate game to show you, because, let's be honest, you can never have enough of them. Reintroducing Windrose, formerly Crosswind. Explore a procedural open world and survive the fact that everyone wants your loot for themselves. If you crave the freedom of the seven seas and don't mind getting some sand in your boots, this may be the swashbuckling adventure for you.

And that's all folks! We hope you enjoyed the Most Wanted list, the world premieres, and all the awesome updates, demos, and game launches. Head to the show's Steam page to fill up your wishlist with your favorites.
