With spring well and truly sprung, and the third and final bank holiday weekend of May finally here - you may well be tempted to make the most of the long weekend and wonderful weather with a stroll to the beach.
Residents of Sunderland have two main sea sides to make the most of, in the form of the stunning Roker and Seaburn beaches - each offering unique and picture perfect views of the North East's stunning coastline.

Each business is given a rating after an inspection by the Food Standards Agency with requirements, if necessary, on how to improve hygiene. In the ratings, five is top of the scale, where standards are very good and zero is at the bottom, where urgent improvement is necessary.
