Every Day by David Levithan - review

As soon as I read the first line of Every Day I was instantly hooked. I just completely fell in love with the concept of someone having to be a different person every time the characters wake up and not having any warning of who they might be or what their life will be like.

I think the thing I liked most about this book was that it never bored me. Every life that A inhabited had its own little dramas and story, so A had to deal with that as well as trying to be in a relationship with Rhiannon.

One of the things that I didn't like so much about this book was that even though I knew A didn't have a gender, the whole time I was reading it I always imagined A as a boy. So when A woke up in the bodies of girls I found it quite hard to get my head around!

Over all I think that Every Day is an excellent book. It's emotional, original and very thought-provoking. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it!
