Michail Antonio became West Ham’s record Premier League goalscorer as he netted a brace to send the Hammers top of the table.
The forward scored two as West Ham thumped Leicester City 4-1 at the London Stadium, his 47th and 48th strikes for the club.
That saw him eclipse Paolo Di Canio’s record as the club’s top scorer since the inception of the Premier League in 1992.
Jamie Carragher heaped praise on Antonio following the win, having already netted three times this season.
"He is a special player and if he cost West Ham £50m or £60m, they would be raving about what they had done in the transfer market," Carragher told Monday Night Football after the match. "We talk about him as a personality, we all like him. But what should not be lost is his absolute quality as a player."
