Every Championship transfer completed so far as Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough get busy

It's all quiet on the South Western front as Bristol City are biding their time in this transfer window and waiting for the right opportunities, whether that be in or out of the club.

The is a scenario that develops whereby multiple players are allowed to leave, for the right fee and terms, and reinforcements (plural) are brought in but, as Nigel Pearson has stated regularly, the reality is likely to be a bit more mundane.

This market is about salaries to a certain extent, getting big ones off the books for those not providing value in the team and if they are to be replaced, bringing in a smaller number to keep losses down.

Pearson said last week that this window could be one in which clubs do spend money and while we've had some deals that have involved a transfer fee - James Hill to Bournemouth and West Brom's purchase of Daryl Dike - the loan market has been the main area for exploration so far.

That isn't a device Pearson is particularly enthused by, given the short-termism of it, but as more clubs look to strengthen by bringing in players on temporary hire, it'll be interesting to see if his stance shifts slightly.

Here are all the completed deals in the Championship so far with Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough leading the way so far but 15 clubs, including City, are yet to have made a new signing.
