So ya know how we recently reported that Real Housewives of Sydney alum Krissy Marsh had joined the cast of The Traitors season three?
Well, it turns out she’s not just a member of the cast, she’s the host! Taking over from actor Rodger Corser, Marsh is set to helm the third instalment of the spicy series.

Here’s everything we know…
Which celebrities are in The Traitors season 3?
As we mentioned, the lush housewife has scored herself the hosting gig on The Traitors but insiders reckon she’s gonna need all the help she can get because the so-called “celebrity cast” is already being roasted as D-list at best.
According to production whispers, the show’s latest revamp has ditched big names for a back catalogue of Aussie reality stars. Think Kiera Maguire (The Bachelor, I’m A Celeb), plus a grab bag of Australian Survivor and MAFS alumni who’ve already done the rounds.

Producers even flirted with locking in controversial returnees like Nasser Sultan and George Mladenov but they were apparently benched in favour of “rival” cast mates.
“The term ‘celebrity’ is being used very lightly,” one insider told PEDESTRIAN.TV.
Around 24 players are flying in, including 21 “Faithfuls” and three “Traitors.” Producers apparently sifted through over 200 names and seriously considered pitting fierce reality TV rivals against each other but only one from each pair made the cut.
On paper, it’s meant to be a “fresh start” for the franchise. In reality? It’s shaping up more like a messy All Stars reunion where you’ll spend the first five eps squinting at the screen going, “Wait, who’s that again?”
What are the cast salaries?
Our insider also spilled that the D-grade celebs are getting paid $1,000 to be apart of the show. Ouchhhh!
When you compare that to how much the celebs scored for The Amazing Race and I’m A Celeb, that’s a pretty piss-poor number.
Where is it being filmed?
The season’s being filmed in New Zealand with the same crew that delivered a well-received Kiwi version, partly because Network Ten let its original deal with Endemol Shine expire and went with a cheaper production company for more control. Cost-cutting chic!

Will Krissy Marsh’s hosting sparkle be enough to carry the season? Or will Ten’s bargain-bin casting gamble turn The Traitors into just another flop in the ratings war? Time will tell.
