Cadbury are hosting 260 Easter egg hunts across the UK in National Trust sites and six of them are less than an hour's drive from the city centre.

Many of the places will be offering games and craft activities galore, so you can stay for a whole day of fun as events are running from Good Friday through to Easter Monday.

Tyntesfield
A mere 17 minutes from the city centre, Tyntesfield is a grand Victorian Gothic house.
The Grade 1 listed building sits on 150 acres of stunning parkland.
You and your family can go and discover the history of the house and its famous inhabitant William Gibbs who lived there over 100 years ago.
The hunt costs £3 and general admission to the estate applies – a family ticket to the garden and estate costs £25.50.

Located 28 minutes away you can easily go see the historic herd of fallow dear on the 270 acres of parkland at Dyrham.
Youngsters can go discover the nature trail and run free in the picnic and play area.

It is a 48-minute drive to the beautiful gardens out in Widcombe.

It will take you 51 minutes to get out to Woodchester from the city centre.
Nestled in a wooded valley with parkland, lakes and pastures, Woodchester Park surrounds an unfinished Victorian mansion.
This site has free entry and the hunt will only cost you £2.50.

This Tudor hunting lodge is a Grade 1 listed building, boosting a 700-acre estate and views as far as the Severn Estuary.
