Every Bristol location Santa's Christmas float is visiting in December

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and this month Santa himself will be coming to various locations across Bristol.

Lots of lucky children all over the city will have the chance to see Father Christmas up close in December, as his float will be passing whizzing through a number of areas.

And this year the festive float will be better than ever - bringing snow machines, lights, smoke and a live DJ to accompany Santa and his elves.

As well as bringing festive cheer, the float will be raising money for charity.

A Go Fund Me page has been set up and all donated funds will go towards the Ben Saunders Foundation, which raises money for children and young adults with cancer.

There will also be collection buckets for people to add to when the float is passing by.

Santa's float will pass through a range of locations in the Bristol region, including Oldland, Knowle, Keynsham, Brislington, Whitchurch and Hengrove.

Each area will be visited by Santa on a different date, with the full agenda listed below:

  • Saturday 4 Dec, 6 pm - Oldland, Cadbury Heath, Longwell Green
  • Wednesday 8 Dec, 6 pm - Knowle
  • Thursday 9 Dec, 6 pm - Chippenham
  • Saturday 11 Dec, 6 pm - Keynsham, Saltford
  • Sunday 12 Dec, 6 pm - Brislington
  • Monday 13 Dec, 6 pm - Whitchurch, Hengrove
  • Maps with the exact routes for each journey can be found on the Santa's Christmas Float Facebook page.

There will also be appearances at some surrounding areas, including High Littleton, Paulton and Midsomer Norton on Dec 15 and Westfield, Radstock and Peasdown on Dec 17.

St Nick will also be heading to Corsham on December 18, as well as Rudloe and Box or at Headley Park on December 20.

The final trip of the tour will take place on December 21 through neighbouring city Bath.

Whilst currently these are the only confirmed dates, a few more locations may be added over the coming weeks, so locals are encouraged to keep an eye on the Santa's Float Facebook page for updates.
