Positive Covid infections have risen in the Liverpool City Region - and in every borough within it.
According to the latest data from Public Health England, the Liverpool City Region recorded 5,285 positive tests in the week ending August 11 - 203 more cases than in the week before.
This means the week on week percentage change increase was 4%.

Each area of the city region recorded rises in infections with the highest percentage change week on week rises being recorded in St Helens and Knowsley, which both had an 11% increase.
Warrington and West Lancashire saw a decrease in positive cases, but Cheshire West and Chester recorded an increase.
Infections rose in England. In the week ending August 11, the country had 173,121 coronavirus cases, which is 10,469 more cases than the week before.
Liverpool
Liverpool's positive tests came to 1,820 cases in the week ending August 11, which is 13 more cases than in the previous week. This meant the week-on-week percentage change increased by 1%.
The latest infection rate was 363.7 cases per 100,000 people.
Halton
There were 400 positive tests over the last week, which is 22 more cases than in the previous week. This means the week-on-week percentage change increased by 6% in the week ending August 11. The latest infection rate is 308.3 cases per 100,000 people.
Knowsley
There was a total of 613 cases in the week ending August 11, which is 59 more cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 402.1 cases per 100,000 people and the number of cases increased by 11% week on week.
Wirral
There were 936 positive tests in the week ending August 11, which is 18 more cases than in the previous week. Wirral's week-on-week percentage change increased by 2%. The latest infection rate was 288.6 cases per 100,000 people.
St Helens
There were 673 positive tests in the week ending August 11, which is 67 more cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate was 371.6 cases per 100,000 people. The week-on-week percentage change in St Helens increased by 11%.
Sefton
There was a total of 843 cases in the week ending August 11, which is 24 more cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 305.5 cases per 100,000 people and the number of cases increased by 3% week on week.
Liverpool City Region
There were 5,285 positive tests over in the week ending August 11, which is 203 more cases than in the previous week.
This means the week on week percentage change increased by 4%. The latest infection rate is 310.38 cases per 100,000 people.
West Lancs
West Lancashire recorded 284 coronavirus cases in the week ending August 11, which is 52 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
There was an infection rate of 248.04 per 100,000 people, and there was a week on week percentage decrease of 16% in infections.
Warrington
There were 649 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending August 11, which is 30 fewer cases than the previous week.
The week on week percentage figure decreased by 4%. There was an infection rate of 309.94 per 100,000 people.
Cheshire West and Chester
There were 910 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending August 11, which is 24 more cases than the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 264.67 cases per 100,000 people, and there was a week on week percentage increase of 3% in cases.
England
In England in the week ending August 11, there was an infection rate of 306.14 per 100,000 people.
The nation recorded 173,121 coronavirus cases, which is 10,469 more cases than in the previous seven days.
There was a week on week percentage increase of 6% in cases.
