Creator-led show titled New Game+ Showcase 2026 wrapped up tonight after showing 45+ game trailers, ranging from small indies and even proof of concept projects to big-budget, AAA releases.
This is New Game+ Showcase’s first run, so the show had no world premieres and new reveals, as the turnaround from conception to implementation was very quick, and the team didn’t have time or ability to negotiate appearances of such games. Instead, the show focused on showing more content for the games that were previously announced.
Most of the trailers contained gameplay footage, which is a decent change of pace compared to some other showcases. In addition to this, there were lots of dev interviews that went in-depth with their explanations.
The showcase was put together under Gaming World Media, with Jake Lucky, Luke Stephens, Luality, and others hosting the show.
