The Thunder’s Hamidou Diallo joined the ranks of NBA slam dunk champions on Saturday with an impressive performance that included jumping over Shaq (and throwing an arm through the rim).
That dunk, which despite the questionable strategy on Diallo’s part, was an all-time great dunk. It was an easy 50, and thanks to NBA History, we can see exactly where Diallo’s showing stood among the best.
They compiled every 50-point dunk in the dunk contest’s history, and, wow, that 2016 dunk contest was too much fun.
Just wait until Zion Williamson almost certainly participates in the dunk contest next year. That video will need some updating.
