Everton Women player ratings as Jess Park and Katrine Veje outstanding in famous win at Liverpool

A pleasantly comfortable evening for long periods for the visiting goalkeeper, she nevertheless dealt with everything that came here way, including punching away a dangerous Megan Campbell corner and a wicked bounce from a Katie Stengel header.

Towering header in front of the Kop to put Everton ahead just 10 minutes in after going close with a long-range effort that Rachael Laws tipped over the bar moments earlier.

Rikke Sevecke 7

Survived a scare when she was robbed of possession by Stengel, giving the Liverpool striker a clear run on goal, but recovered well to make some crucial interceptions.

Katrine Veje 9

Her corner kick set up the first goal and despite officially being deployed on the left-hand side of a back three, she was everywhere as one of Everton’s biggest creative outlets with an all-action hard-running display.

Covered a lot of ground getting up and down the right wing, she put in a real shift for Brian Sorensen.

Nathalie Bjorn 8

Despatched the perfectly-flighted diagonal ball over the top to feed Jess Park for the second goal and was a hard-working presence throughout in the engine room.

Everton’s diminutive metronome in the centre of the park, she knitted play together nicely while providing enthusiastic encouragement for her team-mates.

Dominant display down the left, she bossed her flank at both ends of the field while managing to get some intelligent crosses in too.

The young forward, just 20 and on loan from Manchester City, kept her cool to show great composure in front of the Kop and round Laws before slotting into the net for the second goal and teeing up Hanna Bennison for the third.

Katja Snoeijs 7

Got on the end of several chances leading the line but should have found the net on at least one occasion, she was unable to get on the end of an Izzy Christiansen pass at full stretch in the first half and then shot straight at Laws in the second.

Izzy Christiansen 7

Clever link-up play from the captain, she was a threat when cutting inside from the left and was unfortunate not to lay on a third goal when threading through Snoeijs with a neat one-two.

Hanna Bennison (on 64 for Christiansen) 8

Effective playmaker off the bench as the game opened up in the final third, she forced Gilly Flaherty into a booking when crudely hacked down and then sealed the famous victory by sliding in the third goal at the back post.

Gio Quieroz (on 64 for Snoeijs) 8

The Brazilian youngster showed she possesses graft as well as craft with a great defensive tackle on Taylor Hinds before another committed challenge to dispossess Campbell and start the move for Everton’s third goal.

Late run-out as the Blues saw this one over the line.
