Everton Women have clear aim at the end of rollercoaster season

It was so, so important for us to get some consecutive wins under our belt. Obviously we'd had a bit of a rough start to the year, so I think it was just so important for the group to get that winning feeling back and get people scoring goals regularly.

Obviously that took us into the month of March where we knew we had some really tough fixtures coming up. So for us as a group and that togetherness as a group, I think it was just so important to get that winning mentality back and give us something to build on.

Man City are a top, top side and we know going to play against them is never an easy task - especially when you go back-to-back as well. But I think it shows the level and the standard that this league is at, when you play against those sorts of teams.

You can't make mistakes, because you're going to get punished. I think that's what we learned anyway from playing them, despite how well we performed in the second game it shows just how clinical teams like Man City can be.

They still scored four goals against us. For 90% of the game, I thought we had done really well, but it's that little 10% which lets us down and it's where they do punish you.

There's still an element of confidence in the group given the results we did have especially towards the end of February. We're really going to have to dig into that mentality now before the international break because we've still got two big games - United this weekend and Birmingham before the break.

It's a real opportunity for us to build off the positives from our recent run of games, build a top performance and hopefully come away with more points and climb back up the table.

When I think about the rest of the season, obviously it's been a very tough one for us, we're kind of had to go through a lot as a squad especially given the amount of new players that we had. Obviously we didn't have a lot of time to gel as a squad before the season started and then we unfortunately lost two managers as well which doesn't really help.

It's been a rollercoaster of a season to say the very least, so I think when we look at this last set of games that we have it's just about us as a group playing for a bit of pride. Going into these games trying to deliver top performances that we can put in the bank ahead of next season.

We'll be in a much better position come then, given that we'll have had a season of playing with each other and the new players added in will be more settled. I would definitely say that that's where our head is at going into these last set of games.

Personally, for me, it's going to be a big summer. It's a good opportunity to try and get as many minutes as possible on the pitch to try and put me in a good position physically heading into the summer.

If I can contribute in any shape or form to scoring goals, that only helps. It's definitely a big year and a big summer for me. I just want to be going into the tournament in the best shape and condition that I can be.

Hopefully with the games that we have left I can contribute a lot. Some of us have worked with Chris Roberts for a long time as a coach and his attention to detail is very good.

That's something we've needed, especially given how much of a rollercoaster year we've had. It's good for us to just get consistency week in, week out on the training pitch.

I think it's a massive help for us when we're preparing for games and analysing out own, so I definitely think it's been really nice and refreshing to have someone like Chris to step in and take over for the rest of the season.

It's been a very mix-and-match season for us with various different managers. It's definitely been very nice to have Chris in with us.
