Everton Women eye prolific striker to boost Champions League hopes

Everton Women hope to bolster their attack this summer with the signing of Anna Anvegard.

The Sweden international, 24, has a formidable scoring record in her homeland with Vaxjo DFF and FC Rosengard and has been identified as a key part of the Blues' squad revamp.

Everton are also looking to sign Italian midfielder Aurora Galli, who is due to leave Juventus this month, as well as German right-back Leonie Maier, who will become a free agent at the end of her contract with Arsenal.

The Blues impressive transfer plans, spearheaded by sporting and commercial director Sarvar Ismailov, aim to provide manager Willie Kirk with the strength in depth to mount a top three challenge this season.

Everton are also set to re-sign Toni Duggan, on a two-year-deal, when she leaves Atletico Madrid later this month, with French attacker Kenza Dali and Swedish defender Nathalie Bjorn also on the club's wishlist.

A top three finish this season would secure Everton qualification to the Champions League.
