Everton winger Yannick Bolasie completes season-long loan move

Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has completed a move to Sporting CP on a season-long loan.

The forward was involved in a late race to get his move to Lisbon complete before the transfer deadline expired on Monday.

However, the temporary switch was cleared and the former Crystal Palace man has exited Goodison Park until the end of the campaign.

It was made clear early in the transfer window the 30-year-old was not in the plans of Marco Silva for the 2019/20 season, and new signings have seen him fall further down the club's pecking order.

Bolasie joined Everton in the summer of 2016 and was a regular in the side until picking up a serious knee injury against Manchester United in December of that year.

The winger returned 12 months later and made a further 16 appearances for the club under Sam Allardyce .

The 30-year-old had two loan spells with Aston Villa and Anderlecht last term.

In total, Bolasie has made 32 appearances for Everton in all competitions, scoring two goals across three years.

The winger's contract with the Blues expires in 2021.
