Carlo Ancelotti has displayed his seriousness towards the Carabao Cup by starting both Allan and James Rodriguez for tonight’s fourth round tie with West Ham.
The Blues boss has made two changes to the XI that started the previous round against Fleetwood with Allan and Rodriguez coming in for Bernard and Alex Iwobi.
Both make the bench.

Jordan Pickford remains in goal with Jonjoe Kenny at right-back, Michael Keane and Lucas Digne at centre-half and Niels Nkounkou at left-back.
Allan anchors the midfield with Fabian Delph and Gylfi Sigurdsson alongside him.
Rodriguez starts in a front three with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison.
Jonas Lossl keeps his place as back-up goalkeeper on the bench with Yerry Mina, Seamus Coleman Mina, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Tom Davies, Bernard and Iwobi on the bench.
