Marco Silva makes two changes to the side that beat Leicester City before the international break. There's a first start for Portuguese midfielder Andre Gomes, who arrived from Barcelona in August. He comes in for Tom Davies, whilst Seamus Coleman has returned to the line-up at the expense of Jonjoe Kenny. The right-back has been absent since the September international break. Richarlison leads the line yet again.
The big news for Crystal Palace is that talisman Wilfried Zaha IS fit and starts in attack for the away side this afternoon. Andros Townsend is likely to be the man to partner him and his more advanced role has seen Cheikhou Kouyate come into the line-up to replace Jordan Ayew, who drops to the bench.
£27m summer signing Yerry Mina is on the bench for the Toffees this afternoon. The Colombia defender arrived, along with Gomes, late in the transfer window. Big things are expected of the centre-back, but he's having to wait to get his first start for his new club.
We're now starting to see more and more of Everton's summer signings work their way into the starting line-up. Bernard gets another start this afternoon, after the Brazilian winger made his full Premier League debut against Leicester earlier this month.
Elsewhere, Kurt Zouma and Lucas Digne have nailed down regular spots in Silva's starting XI in the last few weeks and Gomes makes his debut in midfield.
Roy Hodgson is yet to see a side he has been in charge of win at Goodison Park. He's been in the opposition dugout at Everton on eight occasions, losing seven and drawing one of those matches. His side are certainly due a victory.
In a pre-match interview, Hodgson says star man Zaha looked sharp in training on Saturday and is definitely ready to start.
There's also a mention for striker Connor Wickham, who is on the bench this afternoon. Hodgson calls him 'a recognised goalscorer' and seems delighted to be able to call on him again after a long spell on the sidelines. There's no doubt that Palace are in need of a goal-getter.

A win for Everton this afternoon would be their third successive league victory and would also see them rise to eighth position in the league table.
After today, Palace are to face consecutive matches against Arsenal (a), Chelsea (a), Tottenham (h) and Manchester United (a). Having only won one of their last seven matches, you'd say they could certainly do with three points this afternoon.
The home fans certainly seem to be enjoying the increasing Brazilian influence at Goodison Park this season. A bright yellow, Brazilan themed banner can be seen in the home end with the names of Richarlison and Bernard on. Lets see what they can do this afternoon.
Townsend definitely seems to have started in a central role. It looks like a narrow 4-4-2 for the away side with McArthur and Schlupp in the wide areas.
First attack of the afternoon. The ball is played out to Bernard on the left hand side. He cuts in and looks certain to get a shot on goal, but an attempted back heel to Digne doesn't come off and the attack breaks down.
Appeals for a foul just outside the Palace box are waved away by the referee. Jordan Pickford goes long to Richarlison in a way reminiscent of the way he picked out Harry Kane for England in midweek. The forward goes down but nothing is given.
Chance for Everton. Richarlison picks up a loose ball after Idrissa Gueye won the ball in midfield. He drives at the Palace defence but runs straight into trouble. He had options and will be disappointed that he didn't do better there.

Patrick van Aanholt: The Dutchman delivered a poor performance against Wolves, giving the ball away cheaply at times and he was beaten far too easily by Matt Doherty’s movement for the goal. With the likes of Theo Walcott, Bernard and Richarlison providing both pace and excellent movement up front, Roy Hodgson will hope his limited exertions with the Netherlands have given him sufficient time to come back refreshed.

7: Gylfi Sigurdsson has contributed to seven goals in his last six Premier League starts against Crystal Palace. The 29-year-old Icelandic midfielder has scored three goals and registered four assists in that time against the London club.
Player to watch…
Bernard: The Brazilian has had to bide his time at Goodison Park, making just one substitute appearance in his first month on Merseyside. However, the former Shakhtar Donetsk winger was superb against Leicester, setting up Richarlison for Everton’s opener after jinking past two defenders, while showing similar skill on various other occasions. Bernard did not shy away from his defensive duties either, and those are ominous signs for Palace as the summer signing’s confidence increases.
