Everton vs Chelsea team news: What time, what channel, how can I watch online, line-ups, h2h, odds and more

Both teams will feel they should be doing better this season. Everton have slumped to the bottom half of the table and Marco Silva is under immense pressure as a result.

Jordan Pickford has a shocker at Newcastle United last week as Newcastle turned the game on its head to win. The hosts will need Richarlison to continue providing fire-power if they are to threaten Chelsea on Sunday.

After a difficult start to 2019 Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea have stabilised in recent weeks.

They breezed into the Europa League quarter finals with an 8-0 aggregate win over Dynamo Kiev, and in the league they can go level on points with fourth placed Arsenal with a win on Sunday.

They have multiple routes into next season’s Champions League, but they will want to make sure they are competing on both fronts to increase their chances of qualifying.

When does it start?

Everton vs Chelsea kicks at 16:30 on Sunday 17th March.

Where can I watch it?

The game will be televised on Sky Sports Premier League.

Who's playing?

Everton: Pickford, Coleman, Keane, Mina, Digne, Andre Gomes, Gueye, Richarlison, Sigurdsson, Bernard, Calvert-Lewin.

Subs: Baines, Walcott, Tosun, Schneiderlin, Stekelenburg, Davies, Lookman.

Chelsea: Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso, Kante, Jorginho, Barkley, Pedro, Higuain, Hazard.

Subs: Loftus-Cheek, Caballero, Kovacic, Giroud, Hudson-Odoi, Willian, Christensen.

Player to watch

Callum Hudson-Odoi has seized every opportunity afforded to him this season.

You could hardly blame him for wanting to leave in January, but he has stayed and proved very useful for Sarri despite being just 18 years of age. He scored a goal and gave an assist on Thursday night’s thrashing of Dynamo Kiev. Wil Sarri finally trust him in the Premier League?

Live updates

Good afternoon and welcome to The Independent's live coverage of the Premier League.

It's a packed afternoon of action with Millwall and Brighton also squaring off in the FA Cup but our first focus will be at Craven Cottage where Fulham host Liverpool.

The Reds can return to the top of the table with a win in west London - albeit having played a game more than rivals Manchester City.

Jurgen Klopp's men will be keen to seize the advantage after Pep Guardiola's side were in FA Cup action this weekend at Swansea City.

They won't have it all their own way, however, with the hosts in desperate need of all three points themselves as they continue to battle against the drop.

We will have all the latest updates from Craven Cottage throughout the afternoon.

Team News

Liverpool make two changes for this crucial visit of Craven Cottage: Fabinho and Adam Lallana replace Jordan Henderson and James Milner in midfield. Xherdan Shaqiri is on the bench once again.

Fulham, meanwhile, make four changes. Scott Parker's side are desperate for points today.
A win this afternoon would be significant for Liverpool, who can move back top and put the pressure on Manchester City with three points. They face a Fulham side in dismal form and staring down the barrel of relegation. The Cottagers have lost six Premier League games in a row and will need a miracle - starting with an unlikely victory today - to avoid the drop.

Jurgen Klopp's side, on the back of an impressive 3-1 win at Bayern Munich last week, will be strong favourites today. For Fulham, though, there is very little left to lose.

Some pre-match reading. Jurgen Klopp, to the relief of Liverpool fans, isn't heading off to Bayern any time soon:

The teams are out at Craven Cottage! Kick off is just moments away now.
KICK OFF
Fulham, in white and black, get us underway!
Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

3 minutes

It's been a lively enough start from Fulham, who've had most of the ball in the opening stages and look comfortable. Liverpool haven't quite got going yet.
Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

4 minutes

A first sight of goal for Salah, who latches onto a looping through ball from Lallana and looks to prod a shot towards the near post. He doesn't catch it right, though, and the ball trickles wide.
Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

8 minutes

Alisson tests the nerves of the travelling Liverpool fans, delaying with the ball at his feet before eventually firing a pass out to Robertson. Both sides are looking to settle into the game at the moment.
Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

9 minutes

Some nice buildup play on the edge of the Liverpool box gives Ryan Babel some space against his former club. He picks out Seri, whose curling shot rises over the bar.
Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

11 minutes

Robertson beats Fosu-Mensah to a long diagonal ball and races into the box. He has time and space to pick out a teammate, but can only find the hands of Rico. An opportunity wasted for Liverpool's left back.
Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

15 minutes

Fulham cannot afford to give Alexander-Arnold too much space. The young right back collects the ball near the touchline and whips an excellent ball across goal. There's no one there to capitalise, but that's a warning sign for the hosts.
Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

17 minutes

It's not quite happening for Liverpool in the final third. Robertson fires a pass into the feet of Mane but he miscontrols. Scott Parker won't be at all disappointed by how things have gone so far.
Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

18 minutes

Salah collects the ball deep in Fulham's half and runs at Ream, who does well to slide in and win the ball. From the resulting corner, Matip has a free header but glances it well wide.
Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

20 minutes

Alexander-Arnold plays another brilliantly accurate ball into the feet of Salah, who looks to swivel and turn away from Chambers. He doesn't see Bryan, though, who races back and robs him of the ball. Fulham, perhaps surprisingly given the rate with which they concede, have defended well so far.
Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

24 minutes

Fulham come forward for the first time in a while. Babel surges towards goal from the left, linking up with Ayite and then hitting a powerful shot. It's blocked, though, and Liverpool come away with the ball.
Fulham 0-0 Liverpool

25 minutes

Liverpool break quickly following Fulham's rare forage forward and Lallana finds himself in the box. He delays his shot, though, and loses out.
GOAL!
GOAL! Fulham 0-1 Liverpool (Mane)

25 minutes

It's that man again! Sadio Mane makes it 11 goals in 11 games. He plays an incisive one-two with Firmino on the edge of Fulham's box, breaks into the middle and fires home from close range. Fulham can do nothing to stop that.
