Everton vs Bournemouth, Premier League preview: Prediction, kick-off time, TV, live stream, h2h, team news, latest odds

Bournemouth head into the final day of the Premier League season knowing their hopes of survival are out of their hands as they face a tough trip to Everton.

Eddie Howe's side will begin the day in 19th place and three points adrift of Watford and Aston Villa, with two teams set to meet their fate in terms of being relegated or securing their Premier League status.

The Cherries know that victory is the only acceptable outcome on Sunday but they can still go down if their relegation rivals avoid defeat.

But Everton's home form has been superb under Carlo Ancelotti and it will require a special performance if they are to stay in the top flight.

Date, time and venue

Everton vs Bournemouth is scheduled for a 4pm BST kick-off on Sunday, July 26, 2020.

The match will be behind closed doors at Goodison Park with no fans due to be present due to government guidelines regarding coronavirus.

How to watch

TV channel: The match will be televised live on the Sky Sports Golf channel, which is available via Now TV with a day pass for £9.99, or a three-month pass on offer for £25.

Live stream: Sky Sports subscribers can stream the match online via SkyGo and the SkyGo app, with a mobile month pass available for £5.99.

Team news

With nothing to play for other than pride, Ancelotti may rotate his side with Moise Kean in contention for a rare Premier League start.

Jarrad Branthwaite is set to continue at the back while Seamus Coleman could start in place of Djibril Sidibe.

As for Bournemouth, Nathan Ake looks set to miss out after picking up a groin injury against Manchester City, but Adam Smith has recovered from a head injury suffered against Tottenham.

Prediction: Everton 2-1 Bournemouth

Bournemouth's recent form has seen them pick up just one win in their last 12 games. That is relegation form and even considering Everton's likely decision to rest key players, they will want to finish the season on a high.

The Championship beckons for the South Coast outfit.

Head to head (h2h) history and results

These two sides have only met 13 times in their history but the Toffees can boast an impressive record with only two defeats and eight victories.

Notably, Everton have won all four meetings at Goodison Park and scored 12 goals in the process.
