Everton v Sheffield United prediction, bet on Alex Iwobi's new song to get an airing

Will the siren spark a much needed Everton victory? The Blues are back on home turf where they have won their last six matches in succession.

Can they blunt The Blades anbd make it a magnificent seven? We asked the Echo's Everton correspondent, Philip Kirkbride , for his verdict.

Recommended Bets

Alex Iwobi 1st goal at 10/1

Everton only to score 6/4

Win, lose or draw?

Win.  2-0.  Everton are much, much better at home than they are away.  So expect the Blues to get back on track this weekend. The home win is a solid 4/6 with the pools.com and the 2-0 home win is a big 6/1 .

Who's a good bet for first scorer?

Alex Iwobi at an enormous 10/1 looks like being the smart bet,  but Lucas Digne at 16/1 could be tempting.

Who's on the naughty step?

The returning John Lundstram has two yellow cards already this season and so will be among the favourites to add a third caution at Goodison.

Who's on pens?

Sigurdsson.  If he plays. He's 17/4 to score first and 6/4 to score any time .

Will the Blues keep a clean sheet?

They need to!  Back-to-back clean sheets in the opening two league games of the season have given way to shipping seven goals in the next three. Marco Silva will be demanding a shut-out on Saturday. Both Teams To Score 'No' is  3/4 with thepools.com . Better still, only Everton to score is 6/4.
