Everton under-23s will face Manchester United u-23s in pre-season next month.
Five summer matches have been announced with the first taking place against National League North side Southport at Finch Farm on Saturday afternoon.
Everton then host Wigan Athletic u-23s - managed by former striker Nick Chadwick - the following weekend before another Chorley arrive in another non-league visit three days later.
David Unsworth will then watch his side tackle another senior friendly when League Two Morecambe come to Merseyside at the end of August before travelling to Manchester United u-23s the next weekend.
All of the u-23 pre-season games will take place behind-closed-doors as Everton adhere to restrictions in place due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Saturday 15 August: Everton Under-23s v Southport (Finch Farm, 12pm)
Saturday 22 August: Everton Under-23s v Wigan Athletic Under-23s (Finch Farm, 3pm)
Tuesday 25 August: Everton Under-23s v Chorley (Finch Farm, 7pm)
Saturday 29 August: Everton Under-23s v Morecambe (Finch Farm, 3pm)
Saturday 5 September: Manchester United Under-23s v Everton Under-23s (The Cliff, 1pm)
