Everton and Manchester United have both agreed to call off the planned pre-season match between their respective under-23 sides.
David Unsworth's men were originally due to round off their summer preparations with a trip to The Cliff to face the Red Devils this Saturday.
However, the two clubs have now agreed to cancel the upcoming fixture, bringing an end to a testing pre-season for the U23s who have faced Morecambe, Southport, Runcorn and Chorley already this summer.
Everton's first team are set to be in action on Saturday taking on Preston at Goodison Park, with Carlo Ancelotti without a number of players who have been called up for international duty.
Jordan Pickford, Jonas Lossl, Joao Virginia, Andre Gomes, Lucas Digne, Seamus Coleman and Moise Kean are all set to be representing their respective countries this weekend.
The manager could welcome back the likes of Richarlison, Bernard and Yerry Mina however - who all missed the 3-3 draw with Blackpool last month.
Everton's U23s, meanwhile, will find out their fixtures for the upcoming Premier League 2 season in due course.
