It has been claimed that the Blues want to strengthen the right side of their defence, and have put Aarons, as well as Dumfries, on their shopping list.

The report goes on to say that Norwich would only be willing to sell Aarons if a fee in excess of around £25m was offered, but it does not say if Everton would be prepared to make such an offer.

What?

According to the report, Everton could be close to signing Nunes in order to help Sporting secure another deal.

The report states that Sporting want to sign Manuel Ugarte from Famalicao, but in order to complete the deal they must let Nunes depart to Everton.

Reports in recent months claimed a deal worth €18m had been agreed to bring Nunes to Goodison.

The fresh claims says that the deal is all-but completed, and is waiting the approval of new manager Benitez.
