There was another moment to remember for one of Everton's new signings last night.
Andros Townsend got on the scoresheet for the Blues as Rafael Benitez's side defeated Huddersfield Town in the Carabao Cup second-round.
Both Townsend and Gray have now opened their goalscoring accounts for the club, while there was also a competitive debut for fellow new recruit Asmir Begovic.
Benitez will be pleased with the impact of the recent arrivals, but could look to strengthen further before the transfer deadline.

Hertha Berlin forward Matheus Cunha is closing in on a move to Atletico Madrid from Hertha Berlin.
Paperwork for the €30million (£25.7m) move was reportedly completed yesterday night and a medical has also been arranged.

Who?
Matheus Nunes
Where?
What?
Sporting Lisbon midfielder Matheus Nunes could be set to stay in Portgual despite strong links of a move away this summer.
Everton have been one of the sides rumoured to be weighing up a bid for the 22-year-old, who helped Sporting to the top-flight title last season.
The report claims that Nunes is willing to stay for another season at the Portuguese club and could even pen a new deal at Sporting despite outside interest.
Nunes is currently under contract until 2025, having only penned an extension back in October.
Who?
Joao Virginia
Where?
What?
Everton keeper Joao Virginia has completed a season-long loan move to Sporting.
The 21-year-old joined Championship side Reading on loan during the 2019/20 campaign but was recalled by the Blues due to a lack of playing time.
Virginia remained at Everton last term and made a total of three appearances in all competitions for the club.
Benitez will now hope the young shot-stopper can gain some vital experience out on loan.
